Student Welfare Committee - SWC 2021-22, Government College, Quepem The SWC is a body mainly formed to serve as a bridge between the students and the College.

The committee will ensure the welfare of the students, encourage and monitor the extra curricular activities, holistic development of the students and the college.

The Inaugral function for Students Council 2021-22 was successfully organised by the SWC committee and was held on 20th November, in the GCQ auditorium. To our fortune we had Prof.Manoj Kamat, Principal of Mallikarjun College, Canacona as our chief guest to inaugurate our Students Council. Prof. Kamat's excellent speech has motivated our students. Our Principal, Prof. Joydeep Bhattacharjee emphasized the importance of students council and also welcomed our cheif guest. A photocopy machine which is sponsored to our students was also inaugurated on this occasion. GCQ is perhaps the pioneer Government College to have offline elections, having a full fledged students council.
