In this context of technological advancement, when the sacred human bond between teacher and student is slowly fading, we the students and researchers of the , came together to rekindle that timeless connection on the occasion of . Our humble effort was to offer a heartfelt tribute to our beloved teachers through a three-stage celebration filled with reverence, creativity, and emotion.
At the very beginning, we consciously stepped away from the touch of modernity and welcomed our respected teachers in the spirit of the ancient with warmth, simplicity, and deep respect. It was a reminder that education, at its core, is a sacred exchange of wisdom and compassion.
In todayβs world, it has become common for students to express gratitude through material gifts such as pens, diaries, or notebooks. But this year, we sought to offer something more meaningful. The students of the Department of Education presented our teachers with books and plants ( ) and expressing our gratitude & our faith in learning that grows and sustains.
To our delight, our teachers responded with an equally inspiring gesture. Under the guidance and support of our esteemed Prof. (Dr.) Birbal Saha (Head of the Department), Prof. (Dr.) Samirranjan Adhikari, Dr. Subir Sen , Dr. Laxmiram Gope, Dr. Swapan Kumar Maity, and Dr. Madhumita Baidya, they gifted the students a sum of rupees for purchasing new books. Those books will enrich our departmental library, ensuring that the spirit of learning continues to bloom for generations of students to come.
Through this beautiful exchange, at our department became not just a celebration, but a reaffirmation of the eternal teacher-student bond, a reminder that while technology evolves, the heart of education will always beat in human connection, wisdom, and gratitude.
