Late Shri Anant B. Sapkal started Matru Pitru Sapkal Trust by his own will and desire for the welfare of poor, needy but intelligent students. During his life, he himself managed the Trust within the time available and as per his financial capacity. At the time of his death in 1999, he left behind his life time earnings and saving towards Corpus for the Trust.
After his demise, we, his family members, are pursuing his desire further through:
• Awarding scholarships to needy but intelligent students
• Donations to Homes / Day care centers for old age people
• Donations to Hospitals and Medical institutions
• Adoption of school children to help poor students
• Donations to fund raised for help during natural as well as man-made calamities etc.
Although we have a will as well as network of efficient volunteers and well-wishers, we often
fall short of funds to meet our objectives. As of now we have following plans before us.
• Build old age home in Wakad, Pune district
• Donations to educational institutions
• Financial assistance to physically handicapped
• Many other social causes
It is with these tasks in my hands, we appeal to esteemed organizations, individuals like you to generously contribute any possible amount towards the corpus of the Trust. We would like to assure you rupee donated to the Trust will be utilized for the genuine cause for which it is received. These donations are eligible for benefit under section 80 G(iv) of the Income Tax Act.
