*Career Counseling session on Profession as Chartered Accountant "*
The Department of Commerce and Management was organized a Guest lecture on Career Counseling session on the Profession of Chartered Accountancy (CA) on 22nd August 2026 @ Seminar Hall.
The Programme was graced by the Principal Dr. k G Kanade, Vice Principal Prof. Kiran Chaudhary, Registar Mrs. Ashwini Bhosale, HOD of Commerce and Management Dr. Sugriv Adal , Programme Co Ordinator Prof. Jayshree Armane , Faculties and students.
The Programme commenced with warm welcome By Prof. Shravani Kadane . Introduced the today's Resource Person CA Prajkta Chincholkar by Prof. Sujata Phadtare and followed by the felicitation ceremony.
The session was conducted by CA Prajkta Chincholkar Ma’am, who provided valuable guidance and insights into the CA profession and its career opportunities.
The *main objective* of the guest lecture was to create awareness among students about the CA course, eligibility criteria, examination pattern, practical training, career opportunities, and skills required to become a successful Chartered Accountant.
CA Prajkta Chincholkar Ma’am explained the different stages of the CA course and discussed the importance of proper planning, consistent study, time management, and discipline. She also highlighted the various career opportunities available to Chartered Accountants in auditing, taxation, accounting, finance, banking, consultancy, and corporate sectors.
During the session, Ma’am shared her professional experiences and motivated students to pursue their career goals with confidence and dedication. She emphasized the importance of developing analytical skills, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, professional ethics, and continuous learning.
The lecture was interactive and informative. Students actively participated in the session and asked questions related to the CA course, examinations, career prospects, and professional life. Ma’am addressed their queries and provided practical guidance.
