India has committed to reducing road deaths by 50percent by 2030 under the goal.
In 2023, 1,72,890 lives were lost on our roads. This is a reminder of the scale of the required action.
Lower speeds, safer road design, and consistent enforcement are proven measures that save lives.
The question is not whether we know what works, but how urgently we implement it.
