Congratulations to out IBDP class of 2023 for successfully culminating their Theory of Knowledge Exhibition with a Theme ‘The changing realities in which we live’.
Post lockdown it was definitely a challenging experience preparing for TOK Exhibition. But the outcome was rewarding. Critical thinking was manifested by all and this was clearly evident throughout the process of working and also during the presentation of the TOK exhibition. We hope that this event has strengthened the significance of TOK and has widened the perspectives of our Students, Parents and Teachers.

The college application process can seem intimidating, especially if students don't have parents or siblings who have already been through it and can offer advice. With this in mind, University Application Information Session was organized by D Y Patil International School for their students. The students learned about the process and how to maximize their changes to getting into the college of their choice. ‘A good way for students to get started is to create a to-do list during their junior year of high school’ a common piece of advice offered by University Counsellor.

‘Time management is Life management’. – Anonymous

As we overcome the challenges of COVID 19 pandemic, concerns like high screen time, decreased attention, procrastination and lack of time management have been identified among students. With this in mind, Time management workshop was conducted for IBDP year 1 & 2 students as an initiative to help, equip and prepare them for the upcoming challenges of the academic year.
Students worked in groups and discussed on the factors that hamper their time management and they came up with insightful answers like procrastination, attitudes, thoughts & ‘where to begin?’. They also analyzed how thoughts and habits can and have hampered their time management.
This was then followed by an introduction to an action plan on how to overcome the obstacles like decide a goal, assign a specific time frame, identify the obstacles and devise a strategy to overcome certain obstacles.
Over all a wonderful and an interactive session. We look forward to conduct more sessions which benefit our students!
