A historic day for India, when General (later Field Marshal) KM Cariappa, KStJ, OBE, became the first Indian to take charge of the Indian Army in 1949 from General Sir Francis Robert Roy Bucher, who was the last English Commander of our nation's Army. Army Day is a celebration of India’s military might and its unsung heroes. MIT-WPU salutes all Indian Army personnel for their invincible courage, valor, and unflinching loyalty.

Over 5,000+ Academicians, Researchers & Teachers from across India and abroad witnessed the Conferment Ceremony of 'Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar' to Prof. R. Natarajan during the First National Teachers' Congress conducted in 2016 at Pune. The award is a special honor conferred upon Teachers who have made a lifelong contribution to facilitating the creation of generations of enlightened and knowledge-driven students. Hearty Congratulations to Prof. Makutaa Rai and Prof. Dr T J M S Raju for being conferred with 'Rank #3-Best Paper Presentation' during 4th National Teachers' Congress 2020: with the conference theme “NEP 2020-Opportunities Unlocked”. Smt. Makutaa Rai and Dr T J M S Raju made their paper Presentation on the subject “Adjustment and Academic Achievement of Locomotor Impaired and Hearing Impaired School Students ” and was selected by the jury after a review of 100+ applicants who had made entries for each of the Paper Presentations Sessions during the 4 Days. These paper presentations contributed to build a dialogue and reflections related to NEP 2020, the possible barriers in implementation of the same and offered an opportunity to teachers for a unique discourse and to share their experiences with their contemporaries in India.
