काय आहे हर्ड इम्युनिटी (Herd Immunity) ?

देशातील नागरिकांना वाचवण्यासाठी ‘हर्ड इम्युनिटी’चाही संसर्गावर मात करण्यासाठी पर्याय?

कोरोना विषाणूवर मात करण्यासाठी भारताप्रमाणे सारे जग अनेक प्रयत्न करून धडपडत आहे. परंतु, यावर एखादी लस किंवा औषध नेमके कधीपर्यंत शोधले जाईल, हे ठामपणे सांगता येत नाही. अशा स्थितीत भारतात नागरिकांना यापासून वाचवण्यासाठी ‘हर्ड इम्युनिटी’ पर्यायाचा विचार केला जाऊ शकतो.
