गणेशखिंड येथिल ,मॉडर्न महाविद्यालय येथे लष्करी रुग्णालयासाठी रक्तदान शिबिराचे आयोजित करण्यात आले. सशस्त्र सेना वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय AFMC च्या सहकार्याने माॅडर्न महाविद्यालयात सकाळी साडेआठ ते बारा या वेळेत हा रक्तदानाचा कार्यक्रम पार पडला. वैद्यकीय अधिकारी आणि प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून मेजर डाॅ अब्बास गाझी नक्वी हे उपस्थित होते. त्यांच्या समवेत सुभेदार श्री प्रदीप कुमार,हवालदार श्री ए.वी नारायण,श्री प्रणाल देखणे(समन्वयक),श्री अरविंद कुमार, श्री इरसाद अली,श्री प्रशांत राठी,श्री असित पात्रा,श्री संजय कुमार, आदि उपस्थित होते.

MOCK PARLIAMENT: A platform of Experiential Learning.

On 4th Sept 24 FBF of Facultyj of Commerce has organised Mock Parliament on the Passage of bill on Bank Nationalisation.

The students of second year performed the role of member from Ruling party and Opposition Party and performed debate by arguing on various issues.
Shradhaa Kulkarni student of TYBCOM played a role of the then Prime Minister late.Indira Gandhi and gave her introductory Speech.
SYBCOM student Vedang Saramjame played a role of parliament speaker.

TYBCOM students and few FYBCOM students were in the group of media and audience of the parliament.

Visit to the Geology Museum at Fergusson College on 4/9/2024 with 60 students by Geography department.

Department of Political Science visit to Vanarai on 28th August 2024.

On 29th August a Tinkering Lab orientation activity (Under IIC) was conducted at NCL Modern High School and Junior College. This initiative aimed to foster scientific temperament and critical thinking among students through interactive and engaging tasks. A total of 79 students participated in this program, including girls and boys from 11th and 12th class.

The Tinkering Lab activity was led by the IIC (Institution's Innovation Council) student members from the First Year Bachelor of Arts (FYBA) Sociology program coordinated by Dr.Megha Deshpande(Dept.of Sociology) The core of the activity revolved around idea generation and problem-solving tasks designed to challenge the students' creativity and analytical skills. The session included a series of structured tasks where students were divided into small groups. Each group was tasked with brainstorming ideas and developing solutions to various problems presented during the activity.

The Department of Computer Science and IIC organized "Strtupsharks" intercollegiate startup business competetion today. We are delighted and proud to share that we got overwhelming response of 90 students from various colleges like MIT Aalandi, VIT, Indira, Gholap, Sarhad, Christ, K.B.Joshi, Modern Shivajinagar and Modern Gk.

Rural Self Employment Training Institute

FBF and EDC of Faculty of Commerce in association with IIC has organised today on 23rd Aug 24 Visit to Incubation Centre RSETI: Rural Self Employment Training Institute of Bank of Maharashtra of the students who want to develop their entrepreneurial skills and set up their Business.

30 students who have shown their interest in the area of jewellery making, dress designing, Videography, beauty parlour, food processing, travel and tourism, mobile repairing etc have participated and interacted with the director and administrative staff of RSETI.

During the visit 🙏💐Mr.Sanjay Mandhare Director of RSETI has given brief introduction of working of the Incubation centre and motivated the budding entrepreneurs by showing the success story of one trainee participant who is now successful Entrepreneur.

Mr.Santosh Gagade RDC Coordinator Bank of Maharashtra 🙏💐 has discussed the working style and various courses and its importance in present situation.

Vijayalaxmi Kulkarni inaugurated the batch of Videography and Dr.Manjusha Kulkarni madam inaugurated the batch of men's Parlour during this visit and gave inaugural speech on this occasion.

Our Seven students completed 'LOKMAT PAPER INTERNSHIP'
Lokmat Media approaches college for 10 days internship.
15 students interviewed and 7 students got the opportunity. After completing it successfully, Lokmat asked them for another internship .... it is rare....
They learned a lot while working with Lokmat
It is possible because of permission from their teachers.....

IBS: Indian Banking Studies had organised Online Quiz Competition on Banking Awareness on 22nd Aug Thursday.
Eleven students had appeared for this quiz and three students received 98 marks out of 100.
Prashant Pandge and Sharadhaa Kulkarni got special appreciation certificates from IBS.
