'El día de los Mu***os' or 'the Day of the dead' is a Mexican celebration which is dedicated to remembering and honouring the dead people.

In Mexico, it is celebrated during the period of two days, November 1 is considered as the Day of all Saints and November 2 as the Day of the dead.

According to this tradition, people build home altars offering the dead their favorite food items and beverages.
Moreover, they visit their graves with lots of gifts and marigold flowers.

In 2003, the UNESCO declared the festival of the Day of the dead as the Masterpiece of the Cultural heritage of the Humanity.
