SVCON participated in 146th birthday celebrations of our Beloved Gurudev Sadhu T L Vaswani!

Students performed a skit on teachings of Gurudev emphasing the values like Love and compassion for fellow humans and animals, importance of seva and spiritual well being in day today life.
Ms. Nilofer, Clincal Instructor, SVCON presented the report of seva activity performed by students and faculty.

Celebrating 19th foundation day of SVCON to commemorate its inception in year 2006!! ❤️❤️
It’s occasion for us to celebrate our achievements and get ready for more enriching experiences in our future academic journey! 🎉🎉
This year’s celebration started with prayer song and lamp lighting by Brig (Dr) C.H. Gidvani, Academic Director, SVMMC; Mr. Dilip Gopwani, Deputy General Manager, Principal Dr. Manisha Kadam and other HODs.
Program was followed by devotional dance, Bhajan Sangita and skit on Sadhu T. L. Vaswani’s life teachings.
We highly appreciate efforts of Dept of Community Health Nursing for making this celebration a blessed and spiritual experience!!

Sadhu Vaswani College of Nursing in association with Society of Midvives, India (SOMI) had organised regional workshop on occasion on International Day of Midvives, 2024.
Theme of the workshop was “Bridges to Midwifery Care: Building connections between conventional care and Alternative therapies”

It was held on 7th May 2024 from 9.00am to 5.00 pm
We were blessed with the presence of Dr. Prakasamma , Founder President, SOMI; Dr. Chinmay Umarji, Obstetrician; Lt. Col (Rtd) Manonmani Venkat, Advisor, SOMI; Ms. Saraswati Banate, NPM; Ms. Bharati Suryawanshi, NPM; Dr. Shabri Jog, Doula and Dr. Sripriya Gopalkrishnan, Principal, SVCON amongst us.

There were total 250 professionals who participated actively in this workshop from all over Maharashtra. Participants received expert guidance and valuable clinical insights from total of 25 resource persons from theoretical as well as clinical context.

Immense thanks to participants and resource persons from various nursing colleges and hospitals for their active participation and valuable guidance!! SVCON family highly appreciated it!! 🙏🙏🙏

Sadhu Vaswani college of nursing conducted World Aids Awareness week 2023 from 1st Dec to 5th Dec. Every year college has week long activities to create awareness and raise the concerns regarding HIV/AIDS among the college students and community at large.

This year, college had informative events starting from 01.12.23 to 05.12.23.
1. Theme inauguration and presentation
2. HIV/AIDS theme based quiz for all students and faculties
3. Awareness street play conducted at 3 places: National AIDS Research Institute Pune, AT Rajiv Gandhi Hospital Yerawada and at SVCON
4. Guest lecture by Dr. Abhijit Kadam : scientist D NARI on strategies to combat HIV/AIDS

We really appreciate Dept of Medical Surgical Nursing as well as 3rd Semester nursing students for their tireless efforts to put forth such a beautiful program!! It was creative and informative for all of us❤️❤️💐💐🎊🎊🎉
