🎉 January Updates | New Year, New Innovations! 🚀✨
We kicked off January with renewed energy, creativity, and innovation in our ATL and science learning spaces!
🔹 Project Refinement & New Ideas
Student teams continued improving their prototypes with advanced design tweaks, coding enhancements, and better presentation skills. Many also began working on new project ideas for upcoming competitions and exhibitions.
🔹 ATL Classroom Engagement
This month, ATL sessions focused on hands-on activities in electronics, sensors, and basic robotics, helping students translate concepts into real working models. Their enthusiasm set a strong tone for the year ahead!
🔹 Teacher–Student Mentoring Sessions
Regular mentoring meetings were conducted where teachers guided students on technical improvements, documentation, and project planning. These one-to-one interactions helped teams gain clarity and confidence.
🔹 Preparation for Upcoming Events
With several innovation-related events approaching, students started rehearsing their model explanations, poster presentations, and demonstration flow. The excitement is clearly visible!

❄️ December Updates | Prototype Development & ATL Capacity Building 🔧🚀
As we wrap up the year, December has been a productive and innovation-filled month at our ATL!
🔹 Student Teams Progress Review
Our student teams have been actively working on their prototype development, turning ideas into real, tangible solutions. This month, we conducted a detailed review of their progress—celebrating achievements and guiding them on the next steps toward refinement.
🔹 ATL Teacher Training Workshop (IT & Mechanics)
To strengthen technical mentoring, our teachers attended an ATL workshop focused on Information Technology and Mechanics. The training equipped them with deeper practical knowledge to better support students in the lab.
🔹 Mentoring & Resource Support
Throughout the month, students received continuous mentoring and access to essential ATL resources to enhance their prototypes. From design improvements to mechanical fine-tuning, our teams are steadily moving forward with confidence.

🍁 November Updates | ATL Teacher Training & Innovation Planning 🔧✨
This November has been a month of learning, collaboration, and forward planning as we continue strengthening our ATL ecosystem!

Our teachers actively participated in the ATL Teachers Training Workshop, gaining hands-on exposure to new tools, creative methodologies, and innovative teaching practices. Their enthusiasm and commitment to continuous learning truly stand out!
🔹 Implementation Discussions
Following the workshop, we held productive discussions on how to effectively integrate these newly acquired skills into ATL classroom sessions. The focus is on making sessions more engaging, skill-oriented, and innovation-driven for our young learners.

🌟 ATL Monthly Update – October 2025 🌟
The month of October was full of innovation and excitement at Atal Tinkering Lab, Air Force School Viman Nagar! 🚀
💡 We successfully conducted the Buildathon 2025 introduction session and idea submission.
👩🔬 An introduction and orientation session was held for our budding tinkerers — bringing together 32 teams with a total of 70 enthusiastic students ready to innovate for change.
🇮🇳 Students also participated in the Viksit Bharat registration drive, taking a step towards contributing to India’s journey of growth and development.
We’re proud of our young minds who are building a brighter, self-reliant future through innovation and teamwork! 🔧✨

*Street Light Motion Sensor:* A motion-sensing street light system that saves energy by illuminating lights only when someone is nearby, reducing electricity consumption in public spaces.
*Converting Roller Speed Breaker into Electric Energy:* A fantastic eco-friendly project where the movement of vehicles over speed breakers is harnessed to generate electricity—transforming a simple road feature into a renewable energy source!

🇮🇳 **Celebrating Innovation this Independence Day at ATL Lab!** 🇮🇳
This 15th August, our ATL Lab turned into a hub of creativity and patriotism as students showcased their **Independence Day-themed projects**. From smart solutions to unique models inspired by our nation's journey, each project reflected the talent and passion of our young innovators! 💡🛠️
It was a proud moment to see how technology and patriotism blended into powerful ideas!
✨ But the excitement didn’t stop there!
On a different day, our students also participated in an energizing **Creative Thinking Workshop** led by the amazing **Mr. Lalon Sir**.
The session was all about unlocking imagination, problem-solving through new perspectives, and boosting confidence to think differently. 🧠🚀
Both events were a big success — a true celebration of learning, innovation, and creative expression!

Report on Mega Tinkering Day Celebration
Date: 12 August 2025
Time: 10:00 am – 11:30 am
Venue: Air Force School, Viman Nagar, Pune
Air Force School, Viman Nagar, Pune, celebrated Mega Tinkering Day with great enthusiasm on 12 August 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am as part of the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) initiative. The event was organized under the guidance of the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, and conducted through a live Zoom session.
A total of 100 students and 5 teachers participated in the program. The highlight of the event was the hands-on project titled “Vacuum Cleaner”, where students learned the principles of design, assembly, and functionality of the device. The live session included step-by-step demonstrations, interactive Q&A, and guidance from experts associated with the Atal Innovation Mission.
The session aimed to nurture creativity, problem-solving, and innovation skills among students, encouraging them to explore practical applications of science and technology. The collaborative approach between students and teachers created an engaging learning environment.
The event concluded with the successful demonstration of the vacuum cleaner project and an appreciation message from the Principal, acknowledging the efforts of both participants and mentors. The Mega Tinkering Day proved to be an inspiring and enriching experience for all, fostering innovation and teamwork.

World Environment Day is celebrated on 5th June. On account of this occasion, the School is Hosting a Hackathon

Who can participate :
Every class from Class VI to XII has one group of five students.
Students' groups can present their Projects in various forms, such as PPT, Model, App, Live Demo, etc.
