GBHSS Newa organises farewell functioning in the honour of Veteran officer Mr Sajad Wali on his elevation to the post of Principal HSS Litter.The function was organised under the supervision of Dr Mushtaq Pulwami to honor the contributions of our outgoing adorable officer Mr Sajad Wali sir.During the function all the staff members highlighted the dynamism and vision of Mr Sajad Wali and whose potential in shaping the institution has been unparallel and remarkable.

The entire family of HSS Newa felicitated and prayed for the elevated Officer for his succesful tenure as Principal of HSS Newa.

Principal Govt.Boys Higher Secondary School Newa organizes Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation Programme[SVEEP] to Spread Voter awareness and Voter Education and to promote Voter Literacy among the Citizens and newly registered Electors.
The Programme witnessed huge Participation from Senior Citizens of the locality,Senior Officers of the department and the employees of the line departments.
The programme was graced by the august presence of Chief Education Officer Pulwama Mr A.Q Nadvi, BDO Mr Zahoor sb , Nodal Officer SVEEP-AC-34 Mr Javid Iqbal and senior Citizens of the area.
The Programme witnessed multi-interventional Programme that reaches out through differet modes and media to educate citizens,Electors and about the Electoral Process in order to increase their awareness and promote their informed Participation.
Colourful Programmes were presented by Students of different grades highlighting the importance of voter participation.

*HSS Newa organises National Space Day*
To commensurate the Lunar Landmarks in Space exploration by India and its space technology
an enriching programm was organised by BHSS Newa under the proactive guidance of Principal ma'am.
The event was meticulously organized by Event organising committe members under the supervision of Dr Mushtaq to offer comprehensive understanding of India's latest lunar mission. The commitment in fostering educational growth was evident in the carefully curated program, which included expert speakers like *Mr Sajad Wali sr_lecturer physics* Interactive sessions were organised and many presentations were shown to the desirous and curious students including Painting and Quiz competition. The hands-on approach ensured that the seminar was not only informative but also inspiring, sparking a keen interest in space exploration among students. These initiatives enhance horizon of academics and provide valuable learning opportunities to the students especially in the field of Astro Physics.

The programme was managed and anchored by Dr Nadeem Lecturer Mathematics and culminated with vote of thanks to the chair which was presented by Dr Mushtaq.

Rabia Rasool assumes charge as Principal BHSS Newa.

Recieves satiated welcome with get and
on 28th of July 2024 Mtr Rabia Rasool assumed charge as Principal BHSS Newa.The officer was recieved with much honor and privilege by the staff and the students of Hss Newa.The event marked clandestine participation of students of different grades and the entire staff of Hss Newa.The event marked eye catching interventions by the staff and students of the institution.
On the very arrival of Worthy Principal ma'am ,the students of the school captured the emotional scenes of the event in their melodies welcome song reflecting the depth of regard and reverence in the honor of Principal ma'am.The proceedings of the whole event were carried on by Dr Mushtaq Pulwami and the welcome and greeting note was presented by Hoi Mr Sajad Wali to the chair.
In a statement to the Media cell Hoi Mr Sajad Wali expressed his satiation over the joining of Rabia Rasool as Principal of the institution and unequivocally expressed his heart out before the audience that the institution has been fortunate enough to for getting principal of the Same School under whose patronage the horizons of excellence in all spheres shall touch new heights and new strides.

The event was added colors by the August presence of other revered guests including Mtr Asifa Jan Principal Hss Kurhama Ganderbal,Mr Altaf Ahmad Wani Principal Hss Rahmoo, Other Revered guests from Hss Nawakadal Srinagar and Mr Kaiser Rafiq Sr faculty Diet Pampore Pulwama.

Whole staff of the institution very much overwhelmed over the joining of Mtr Rabia Rasool as Principal of the institution and expect that the institution will ink new milestones under her able and dynamic adminstration.

Least but not last the Hoi of the Institution Mr Sajad Wali, the heads of different committees, Staff members of all cadres,Non teaching officials of the institution and the MTS Officials deserve Manna Dew for their unflinching and meticulous efforts in shaping the whole Programme.

Media Cell is also indebted to the efforts of Officials who were part of the Coverage team for their best stills and clicks of the whole event.

We would also like to appreciate the over all efforts of all the cadres of the institution in shaping and painting the whole Programme.

GBHSS Newa organises Foundational literacy and Numeracy programme under week long *Shiksha Sapta* Initiative.
The programme is aimed to ensure that all the students are able to read and write the foundational aspects of Language and Numeracy.
The initiative as aims to put in all efforts into place to ensure that students of all grades especially from Foundational stage, Pre preparatory stage,Balvatika Stage and all other grades are given due consideration for comprehending the basic language levels and basic rules of Numeracy viz Addition,Subtraction division and multiplication.

FLN team head by Dr Nadeem and assisted by Mr Mudasir under overall supervision of Mr Akhter Rasool is making all efforts to aware the students about the different initiatives and interventions covered under *Shiksha Sapta*

We are committed to enhance the learning process by adopting trending pedagogies and methodologies in the class transactions.
