Assembly Highlights | Class IXโD | World Humanitarian Day
The Assembly Programme of Class IXโD, held in observance of World Humanitarian Day, was a meaningful celebration of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility.
The programme commenced with the Class Teacherโs insightful introduction on humanity, followed by the rendition of Tamil Thai Vazhthu, a solemn Bible reading, and a soulful special song that set a reflective tone for the day.
An impactful English speech was eloquently delivered, emphasizing the message:
โHumanity is not about how much we have; it is about how much kindness we share.โ
This was followed by a powerful mime performance on kindness, where students expressed through actions that even the smallest act of care can create a significant impact.
The Current Affairs segment kept the audience informed with the latest international news, while a thought-provoking Tamil speech highlighted perspectives on humanity from great leaders and Tamil culture.
The assembly also showcased the vibrant talents of students through a graceful classical dance, complemented by a live on-stage drawing, adding a creative dimension to the theme.
The Thought of the Week centered on Empathy, reinforcing the core value of understanding and kindness.
The programme concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks followed by the Coordinatorโs words of appreciation, acknowledging the commendable efforts, of both students and teachers in organizing this enriching assembly.
