Earth Smiles Day Celebration – A Step Towards a Greener Tomorrow

Our young learners celebrated Earth Smiles Day on Friday, 24th April 2026, with great enthusiasm and creativity. Through engaging activities such as planting saplings and creating eco-friendly crafts like accessories and bird feeders from waste materials, learners explored meaningful ways to care for our planet.

The day encouraged children to reflect on simple yet impactful habits like reducing waste, saving water and showing kindness towards all living beings. Their participation highlighted a growing sense of responsibility and awareness.

With bright smiles and thoughtful actions, our learners truly embraced their role as young ambassadors of the Earth, pledging to keep our planet green and happy ,today and always. 🌍

A memorable and prestigious evening for A. M. Naik School students and teachers as we had the honour of attending a high-tea reception hosted by Consul General Mr. Erik af Hällström at his residence.

It was a wonderful opportunity to interact with him and gain valuable insights into Finland, its world-renowned education system, and its progressive learning policies. The experience was truly inspiring for both students and teachers.

Our students were delighted to engage in meaningful conversations with the Consul General and the CCE coaches, making the evening even more enriching and memorable.

We sincerely thank Mr. Erik af Hällström for his warm hospitality and gracious welcome. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to CCE Finland for creating such exceptional global learning opportunities for our students.

🎨 A Proud Moment for A. M. Naik School, Powai! 🇮🇳

A. M. Naik School, Powai, Mumbai, has achieved a remarkable milestone at the State-Level Greeting Card Competition 2025–26, organized by Aadhar Social Trust and held in Pune on 18th April 2026.

With participation from over 16,000 students across 17 districts of Maharashtra, our school stood out with an impressive contribution of 370 students, who beautifully expressed their gratitude and love for our brave soldiers through heartfelt greeting cards. 💌

✨ Highlights of the Achievement:
• 370 students represented our school with creativity and patriotism
• Greeting cards dedicated to Indian soldiers guarding our borders
• Participation in the noble initiative “Mayecha Ek Ghas Jawanansathi”, where handmade cards and traditional snacks are sent to soldiers during Diwali
• Awards, certificates, and trophies proudly received by Mr. Jay Salian, HOD – Art Education

The prize distribution ceremony was held at Nilu Phule Sabhagruh, Pune, celebrating art, emotion, and national pride.

👏 We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Aadhar Social Trust and its President, Mr. Santosh A. Chakankar, for providing such a meaningful platform that nurtures creativity along with social responsibility.

🎨 Students’ Art Exhibition 2025

We are proud to share that the Students’ Art Exhibition, held at Kohinoor Continental Art Gallery in 2025, was not just a celebration of creativity but also a meaningful step towards giving back to society.

The proceeds from the sale of paintings were donated to Akshayshakti NGO. The donation amount was formally handed over to Dr. Narayan A. B. Iyer on Friday, 17th April 2026.

A heartfelt thank you to all our talented students, supportive parents, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative a success. Together, we continue to inspire creativity with compassion. 🌟

A.M. Naik School proudly launched the One Year Certificate Course – Foundational Years Teacher Enrichment Program to empower aspiring early childhood educators. The course focuses on developing essential skills, positive attitudes, classroom management strategies, and a deeper understanding of preschool learners.
An inspiring Orientation Session held on 10th April 2026 introduced the ECCED curriculum, highlighted career opportunities, and addressed participants’ queries, marking a promising beginning to this meaningful journey.

Our elementary corridors at AMNS came alive with smiles, excitement and cheerful chatter as we hosted our much-awaited Meet & Greet Day!

It was a delightful opportunity for our young learners and their parents to connect with their facilitators , explore classrooms and step into a year filled with learning and growth. From warm introductions to joyful conversations, the day truly set a positive tone for the academic journey ahead.

Our little stars walked in with curiosity and left with comfort, confidence and bright smiles!
