🌼 Teachers’ Day Celebration – 2026 at PKB College of Nursing
A joyful and heartfelt Teachers’ Day Celebration was held on 03.09.2026 at PKB College of Nursing, organized by the B.Sc. Nursing Final Year – VIII Semester students. The event was filled with gratitude, happiness, and meaningful tributes to our dedicated teachers who inspire and shape future healthcare professionals.

The programme began with a warm welcome by Ms. Sakthipriya, followed by the symbolic lighting of the Kuthuvilakku, honouring knowledge and wisdom. Students presented lively cultural performances, engaging games, and a touching speech by Ms. Rohini, highlighting the invaluable role of teachers in personal and professional growth.

A creative student‑made video added beautiful memories to the celebration, along with thoughtful tokens of love and special award titles presented to teachers. The event concluded with a joyful cake‑cutting ceremony, marking a sweet end to a memorable celebration.

A sincere Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ms. Sharmini, appreciating the Principal, faculty, and students for making the day meaningful.

National Eye Donation Awareness Rally | Cuddalore GH | 02‑09‑2026
PKB College of Nursing students actively participated in the National Eye Donation Awareness Rally at Cuddalore GH as part of the National Eye Donation Fortnight 2026. 👁️✨

Carrying the theme “Donate Eyes • Gift Sight • Transform Lives”, our students reached out to the public through meaningful health‑education activities. Attractive and informative pluck cards were used to spread simple, powerful messages on the importance of eye donation.

The rally highlighted a life‑changing truth — one decision to donate eyes can restore sight, hope, and a future for someone living in darkness.

The Blood Donation Camp was organized by the Lions Club of Pondicherry Central in collaboration with PKB College of Nursing on 28th August 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The programme was presided over by Ln. J. Tamijarassane, President, Lions Club of Pondicherry Central.

Our PKB Nursing students participated with remarkable enthusiasm and voluntarily donated blood, showing their commitment to saving lives and serving the community. The camp aimed to build awareness on the importance of voluntary blood donation and inspire students to become regular donors.

This initiative encouraged students to develop a positive attitude towards blood donation, motivating them to spread awareness among their families and the community. The programme highlighted a powerful truth — one blood donation can save multiple lives, and regular voluntary donation is a vital community health service.

The camp concluded successfully with the active support of students, organizers, and healthcare personnel. It provided students a valuable opportunity to contribute to the health and well‑being of patients in need.
