The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), St. Anne's College of Engineering and Technology, organized a Five-Day Value-Added Course on "Prompt Engineering" from 06.07.2026 to 10.07.2026 for final-year AIML students. The programme was conducted by Mrs. M. Sangeetha, Founder & CEO, SkillsIn Corp. On the first day, students learned the fundamentals of Prompt Engineering and different prompt types. The second day covered Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-assisted email generation, and professional content creation. The third day focused on AI image generation and poster design using effective prompts. The fourth day introduced AI-assisted coding, debugging, and code optimization techniques. On the final day, students were trained in AI-based resume preparation and portfolio building.
The resource person also demonstrated real-time industry projects developed by the company, giving students practical exposure to Generative AI applications. Interactive hands-on sessions helped students gain confidence in using AI tools effectively.
The programme concluded successfully with the distribution of company-issued certificates to all participants. Overall, the Value-Added Course enriched students understanding of Prompt Engineering and its practical applications in today's AI-driven world.
