Ben-Hur Public School, Pilibhit marked the 80th Independence Day with immense zeal, dignity and patriotic spirit. The day was a vibrant expression of our nation’s unity, liberty and commitment to progress.

The program featured thought-provoking addresses and patriotic song. Each segment reminded our students that freedom is sustained through responsibility, integrity and service to the country.

The unfurling of the Tricolor was the highlight of the day. As the flag rose against the sky, it instilled deep respect and gratitude for the heroes who laid down their lives for our freedom.

The ‘Kaun Banega Genius’ Quiz Competition was organized for the students of Classes VI to VIII to test their knowledge, presence of mind and team spirit.

The quiz was conducted in two rounds.
All students of Classes VI to VIII participated in the qualifying written round. Based on their performance, 4 top students were selected from each class.

A total of 12 finalists were divided into 6 teams of 2 students each.
Each team was asked 12 questions based on GK, academics and logical reasoning.
The Lifelines provided were 50-50, Expert Advice and Audience Poll.

‘Kaun Banega Genius’ was a great success. It encouraged students to enhance their general knowledge and think quickly under pressure. The use of lifelines and audience participation made the quiz exciting and interactive for all.

The English Club of Ben-Hur Public School successfully organized ‘Literati’ - English Literature & Language Exhibition for students of Class VI to XII. The exhibition aimed to bring Literature and Language to life and to develop a love for reading, writing and expression among students.

The exhibition displayed a wide range of creative and educational models prepared by students under the guidance of the English faculty.

Themes and Models Displayed:
- Evolution of English Language
- William Shakespeare – Plays and Dramas
- J.K. Rowling – Harry Potter Series
- Robert Frost & William Wordsworth – Poetry
- Oscar Wilde – The Canterville Ghost
- Jungle Book, Arabian Nights, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Canterville Ghost
- ⁠Autobiography of APJ Abdul Kalam
- NCERT Literature – The Laburnum Top, Discovering Tut, Journey to the End of the Earth, Dust of Snow and others
- Idioms, Pronunciation Activities, Tongue Twisters, Spelling Bee & Picture Recognition
- ⁠Models on Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Conjunctions, Tenses, Verbs, Reported Speech, Figures of Speech etc.

Ms. Mukta Pandey, Ms. Roshni Bagga, Mrs. Nirmala Sharma, Mrs. Anu Agarwal, Ms. Sanskriti Kashyap, Mrs. Poonam Rani, Mrs. Ula Quereishi, Mrs. Veena Dulwani, Mrs. Juhi Khanam, Ms. Archi, Mrs. Hina Mumtaz, Ms. Aastha Anand.

Their dedication and mentorship helped students explore literature beyond textbooks and express themselves confidently.

Parents who visited the exhibition highly appreciated the hard work, creativity and efforts of both students and teachers. They applauded the initiative for making learning interactive, engaging and memorable.

‘Literati’ was not just an exhibition, but a celebration of language, imagination, and literary heritage. It provided students a platform to display their talent and instilled in them confidence, creativity and a deeper appreciation for English Literature and Language.
