Annual function at SARVHITKARI VIDYA MANDIR, PHAGWARA
Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir, Phagwara celebrated its much-awaited 1st Annual Function with great enthusiasm and grandeur on 07-02-2025. The event, held at school, was graced by the presence of Chief guests Mr.Som Prakash (Ex MP), along with her wife Mrs.Anita Som Parkash and guests of honour Mr. Ved Parkash Chadha and Mrs. Ritu Gupta, management committee members Mr.Krishan Bajaj(President) along with family,Mrs.Manju Arora (Manager),Mr.Sumesh Luthra ji,Mr.Sushil Verma,Mr.Rakesh Malhotra,Mr.Satpal Dhingra and other faculty members, students, and proud parents.
The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the spreading of knowledge, followed by a heartfelt welcome speech by Principal Ms.Vandana Chopra, who highlighted the achievements of the institution over the past year.
The cultural extravaganza featured a vibrant array of performances, including traditional dances, soulful musical renditionsand energetic group performances. Each act reflected the talents and creativity of the students, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained.
One of the highlights of the event was the appreciation award ceremony, where students were honored for their talents. The Chief Guest praised the students for their hard work and dedication, emphasizing the importance of holistic development.
In his inspiring address, the Chief Guest stated, “Events like these not only showcase talents but also instill confidence and a spirit of teamwork among students.”
The function concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by the national anthem, marking the end of a memorable event. The event was a resounding success, leaving everyone with cherished memories and a sense of pride in the institution’s vibrant culture.
