🔴 BREAKING | OPS vs NPS vs UPS —
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📌 पुरानी पेंशन (OPS):
• Last salary का 50% guaranteed pension
• DA revision — inflation protection
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📌 NPS (2004 से लागू):
• Market-linked — returns guaranteed
• Employee 10% + Govt 14% contribute करती है
• 60% corpus tax-free
• Private sector
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📌 UPS (1 April 2025
• 25 साल service पर — 50% salary guaranteed
• Minimum Pension: ₹10,000/month
• Employee 10% + Govt 18.5% contribute
• Inflation protection (DA benefit)
• Family pension: 60%
• Switch की deadline: 30 Sept 2025
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🏛️ A BJP MP just demanded something in Parliament that every Indian employee deserves to hear about.
Dr. Dinesh Sharma — Rajya Sabha MP and former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh — has raised a formal demand for 13 days of mandatory PAID bereavement leave for all employees when a parent dies.
Not just government employees. Private sector employees too.
Here is why this matters:
Right now, India has absolutely no mandatory bereavement leave law. When your father or mother dies, your employer is not legally required to give you even a single paid day off. You are forced to use your own Casual Leave or Earned Leave — the same leaves you save for illness, holidays, and emergencies.
Dr. Sharma's demand is for 13 days — because in Hindu tradition, the mourning period after a parent's death lasts exactly 13 days. That is the time needed to complete the last rites, the rituals, and the tehrvi ceremony with full dignity.
Currently, under the Central Civil Services Leave Rules of 1972, there is no dedicated bereavement leave category for government employees at all.
This demand covers every working Indian — in government offices, private companies, schools, hospitals, everywhere.
If you think this is right — share this post. The more people who know, the more pressure there is to make it happen.
