📢 *Important Note for Class XII Students – On-Screen Marking (OSM) by Board*

Dear Students,

The Central Board of Secondary Education has introduced On-Screen Marking (OSM) for evaluation of answer sheets. Your answer booklets will be scanned into digital images and checked by examiners on a computer screen.

Therefore, you must follow these precautions to avoid loss of marks:

✔ Write neatly and clearly so that your answers are easily readable on screen.
✔ Use a dark blue/black pen and avoid very light writing.
✔ Draw diagrams with a sharp pencil and label them clearly.
✔ Avoid overwriting, unnecessary cutting, or cramped writing.
✔ Leave proper margins and spacing between answers.
✔ Highlight important points, headings, and formulae neatly.

Remember, even correct answers may lose marks if they are not clearly visible after scanning. Presentation and clarity are now more important than ever.

Prepare well and practise writing clean, well-structured answers.
