10 Last-Minute Tips to *SKYROCKET* Your *MATHEMATICS MARKS*
……… Salman Ghani
As the day of your CBSE Mathematics Board Exam 2024 draws near, it's completely normal to feel a mix of excitement and nerves. But take a moment to pause and realize this: you've dedicated countless hours to studying, practiced problem after problem, and now, you're on the brink of showcasing all that hard work. This exam isn't just about memorizing stuff—it's about showing what you know and how well you can solve problems. And you know what? You've totally got this! In these final moments before the exam, it's essential to approach it with the right mindset. Believe in yourself and your abilities. Now, let's get into some simple tips to help you do great:
1️⃣ *MANAGE YOUR TIME* Make sure you give yourself proper time for each section of the paper. Don't spend too long on one question and forget about the others.
Here's a breakdown of time allocation for each section:
*Section A* (20 MCQs of 1 mark each)
*Time allocation = 30 minutes*
*Section B* (5 questions of 2 marks each)
*Time allocation = 25 minutes*
*Section C* (6 questions of 3 marks each)
*Time allocation = 40 minutes*
*Section D* (4 questions of 5 marks each)
*Time allocation = 40 minutes*
*Section E* (3 Case study-based questions of 4 marks each) *Time allocation = 35 minutes*
By following this time allocation plan, you not only ensure that you cover all sections of the paper but also leave yourself 10 minutes for reviewing your answers. This final review is invaluable, as it allows you to catch any mistakes or omissions and make any necessary corrections before time runs out.
2️⃣ *DECIDE YOUR COMFORTABLE ORDER* Before you start, think about the order that feels best for you. Maybe you prefer solving questions from Section E first. Work through all the questions in one section before moving to the next. Don't mix questions from different sections together.
3️⃣ *SAVE FINAL CALCULATIONS FOR LATER* Do not do all the calculations in the beginning or the middle of the solution. Keep it till end. Sometimes in the end, the calculation becomes easier.
4️⃣ *TRY EVERY QUESTION* Even if you're not sure, give it a shot. It's better to try than leave it blank.
5️⃣ *BRING YOUR STUFF* Make sure you have all your math tools with you. Your geometry box is like your superhero utility belt!
6️⃣ *READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY* Make sure you understand what each question is asking. Read the instructions carefully so you don't miss anything.
7️⃣ *CREATE A SEPARATE* SECTION FOR ROUGH WORK Allocate a specific area on each page for rough work. Avoid using the back side of the page for this purpose. Turning over pages to do rough work for every question can waste precious time.
8️⃣ *KEEP YOUR ANSWERS NEAT* Write your answers neatly so the examiner can understand what you write. It could earn you extra points!
9️⃣ *CHECK YOUR WORK* At the end, go back and double-check your answers. Look for any mistakes and fix them.
🔟 *DUA, DUA & DUA* Remember the power of Dua—make plenty of dua for yourself and your friends. Duas act as a strong shield, capable of altering your destiny. With sincere prayers, you invite blessings of Allah that alleviates fear and give you confidence.
