📍Lanka Bridge, which was earlier called Bhaironghati Bridge, is located at a height of 2800m/ 9,186.35 feet above sea level in the Uttarkashi District of Uttarakhand. It is the 2nd-highest motorable bridge in Asia, after Chicham Bridge in Spiti Valley. It connects Lanka to Bairah Ghati (Valley). The bridge is the only one connecting Gangotri Temple to the rest of the state. The river beneath the bridge is the Jadh Ganga, also called Jalandhari or Jahnavi, which originates from Mana Pass, Tibet, and enters India through Nelong Valley, then merges with the Bhagirathi in Harshil Valley and becomes its tributary.

The trek to Lama Top from Harsil is a short, easy-to-moderate 2 km hike, ideal for families and beginners.
