Vikas Vaibhav, IPS — A Journey Beyond Policing Vikas Vaibhav

A 2003-batch IPS officer and B.Tech graduate from IIT Kanpur, Vikas Vaibhav has earned recognition not only for his policing, but also for his larger social vision for Bihar.

During his policing career, he played a significant role in controlling kidnapping and organised crime in Bagaha in Bihar. Under his leadership, the crime graph in areas once known for such activities reportedly came down significantly. His contribution was so impactful that places and roads were later named after him.

Rohtas, once considered a strong Naxalite belt, also witnessed a remarkable transformation during his leadership. Through Operation Vidhvans, several Naxalites surrendered and returned to the mainstream. Rohtas witnessed the Tiranga being hoisted and, notably, a peaceful election was conducted there.

Beyond policing, Vikas Vaibhav’s biggest social initiative is Let’s Inspire Bihar, which has connected more than 4 lakh people. The initiative is built around three pillars — Education, Egalitarianism and Entrepreneurship — with the vision of creating a stronger, more aware and progressive Bihar.

His journey reminds us that true leadership is not just about holding a position; it is about creating an impact that continues even beyond the position.

IAS Tukaram Mundhe is showing what fearless food-safety enforcement looks like. As Maharashtra FDA Commissioner, his administration has conducted 1,100+ inspections, seized nearly ₹50 crore worth of food stock, including over 1.6 lakh litres of allegedly adulterated milk, and suspended licences of dozens of restaurants. Four Domino’s outlets in Maharashtra were also shut down over serious hygiene and food-safety violations. (Times of India⁠)

The crackdown has even reached celebrity endorsements, with Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff receiving notices over Vimal Elaichi advertisements, amid allegations of surrogate promotion of pan masala. The FDA has also acted against analogue/non-dairy paneer and inspected establishments including the Bombay High Court canteen. The message is clear: food safety rules should apply equally—whether it is a small food outlet, a major brand, a celebrity or a government establishment. 🇮🇳

☑️ From teaching Mathematics in a small rented room to building Super 30, Anand Kumar’s journey is far more than a story of success—it is a story of struggle, sacrifice, resilience and a life devoted to serving children through education. Abdul Kalam Saheb went to Dehradun for an interview. He walked out rejected. only nine candidates were selected. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam missed the list by just one position. Most people would have called the end. Destiny called it detour.

Years later, the same man became the President of India and the Supreme commander of the armed forces, eventually flying in a fighter aircraft, he once dreamed of piloting.

When Abdul Kalam was asked to throw an Iftaar Party, he chose to share that amount with an orphanage. Not only this, he also gave a cheque of ₹1 Lakh for the children and requested his assistant to keep it confidential. This man is really a great inspiration for the entire world.
