The Institute Innovation Council (IIC) of Shri D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy and Research Centre (SDDVCOP&RC), under the aegis of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), AICTE, organized a MIC-Driven Activity titled “India’s IPR Policy and Provisions for Startups, Inventors and Innovators: Accelerating the IP Landscape in HEIs” on 24 August 2026 at 11:30 AM IST** in online mode. The session was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Unnat P. Pandit, Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks, Government of India**. The programme enhanced awareness about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), patents, designs, trademarks, protection of innovations, and commercialization opportunities for startups, inventors, and innovators. The session encouraged students, faculty members, and researchers to promote a strong culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and IPR in Higher Education Institutions. The activity was coordinated by Dr. Sunita Gagare and Prof. Radhika Mahalle, IIC Coordinators, under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Ashish Jain, Principal; Hon. Shri Dhanrajji Vispute, Chairman; and Hon. Mrs. Sangeeta Vispute, Secretary, Adarsh Group of Institutes. Overall, the programme was highly informative and successfully strengthened participants’ understanding of IPR and its vital role in fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization.

The Nasha Mukti Awareness Programme was organized at D. Y. Patil, Navi Mumbai, on 22 August 2026, with the objective of creating awareness about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse. The programme was graced by Hon. Shri. Devendra Fadnavis Saheb.Students and faculty members of Shri D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy and Research Center participated in the programme through online mode. Students showcase their talent through various awareness activities, emphasizing the importance of Nasha Mukti, addiction prevention, and maintaining a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Ashish Jain, Principal; Hon. Shri. Dhanrajji Vispute, Chairman; and Hon. Mrs. Sangeeta Vispute, Secretary, Adarsh Group of Institutes.

The programme was informative and impactful, motivating students to spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and actively support the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The initiative reinforced the importance of collective efforts towards building a healthy, responsible, and drug-free society.

The IQAC and NSS Unit of Shri D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy and Research Center, New Panvel, in collaboration with the Nandkumar Maruti Jadhav Foundation’s Special School for Intellectually Disabled, organized a Rakhi Stall Initiative.
The initiative provided students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and talent through handmade Rakhis, helping to develop their confidence, social interaction, creativity, pride, and sense of accomplishment.

The programme promoted inclusivity, social participation, equal opportunities, and empowerment of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Interaction with the students and faculty made the initiative meaningful and enriching.

The “Campus Care to Society Care” programme for women in the adopted village was organized by the IQAC and NSS Unit of Shri D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy and Research Center, New Panvel, on 18 August 2026 at 11:30 a.m., with the participation of 100 women and girls.

The programme focused on awareness about PCOS/PMOS, menstrual health, menstrual hygiene, and healthy lifestyle practices. Expert gynaecologists Dr. Krushna Borkar and Dr. Mona Borkar provided guidance on early identification of health concerns, menstrual hygiene, healthy habits, and timely medical consultation. An interactive Question-and-Answer session enabled participants to clarify their doubts and seek expert guidance.

The programme promoted health awareness, self-care, confidence, and healthy practices and encouraged open discussion on menstrual health. The initiative conveyed the message “Awareness Today, Empowerment Forever.”

Independence Day Celebration

Shri D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy & Research Center celebrated Independence Day on 15 August 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The celebration commenced with the flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by the National Anthem. Students, faculty members, and staff participated actively in the event. Hon. Chief Guest CDR. Brahm Swaroop Sir delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing patriotism, national unity, discipline, responsibility, and service to the nation.

A patriotic dance performance by the students added enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy to the celebration. The event encouraged students to reflect on the sacrifices of freedom fighters and their responsibilities as citizens.

The celebration concluded with a message motivating students to contribute positively to society and the nation through knowledge, dedication, and responsible citizenship.

‘व्हिजन भारत – Gen Z Dialogue : संवाद ते संकल्प’ हा प्रेरणादायी आणि संवादात्मक कार्यक्रम १३ ऑगस्ट २०२६ रोजी सकाळी ११.०० वाजता नवीन पनवेल येथील आदर्श शैक्षणिक संकुलातील दादासाहेब श्री. धनराजजी विसपुते सभागृहात उत्साहपूर्ण वातावरणात आयोजित करण्यात आला. कार्यक्रमाचा मुख्य उद्देश Gen Z पिढीशी थेट संवाद साधून त्यांच्या विचारांना, अपेक्षांना आणि भविष्यातील भूमिकेला व्यासपीठ उपलब्ध करून देणे, तसेच राष्ट्राच्या विकासात युवकांचा सक्रिय सहभाग वाढवणे हा होता.

कार्यक्रमास मा.आ. श्री. प्रशांतजी ठाकूर साहेब, आमदार, पनवेल विधानसभा, मा. श्री. निलेशजी खरे साहेब, मुख्य संपादक, सकाळ माध्यम समूह व साम टीव्ही, तसेच मा. श्री. मनोजजी सानप साहेब, जिल्हा माहिती अधिकारी, ठाणे यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती लाभली. तसेच श्री. गणेश घोलप, सकाळ समन्वयक आणि श्री. सचिन परदेशी, नवी मुंबई पोलीस यांचीही उपस्थिती होती. कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजक मा. श्री. धनराजजी विसपुते, अध्यक्ष, आदर्श शैक्षणिक समूह आणि मा. सौ. संगीता विसपुते, सचिव, आदर्श शैक्षणिक समूह उपस्थित होते.

मान्यवरांनी युवकांना शिक्षण, तंत्रज्ञान, नवकल्पना, सामाजिक जबाबदारी, नेतृत्व आणि राष्ट्रनिर्मिती या विषयांवर मार्गदर्शन केले. Gen Z Dialogue या विशेष सत्रात विद्यार्थ्यांनी व युवकांनी आपले प्रश्न, विचार आणि अपेक्षा मान्यवरांसमोर मांडल्या. बदलत्या तंत्रज्ञानाच्या युगात Gen Z पिढीने आपल्या कौशल्यांचा, सर्जनशीलतेचा आणि नव्या विचारांचा सकारात्मक उपयोग करून देशाच्या प्रगतीत योगदान द्यावे, यावर विशेष भर देण्यात आला. युवक आणि मान्यवरांमधील थेट संवाद हे कार्यक्रमाचे प्रमुख आकर्षण ठरले.

या कार्यक्रमास सर्व विभागांचे प्राचार्य, प्राध्यापक, शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी तसेच सर्व विद्यार्थी मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होते. त्यांच्या उत्स्फूर्त सहभागामुळे कार्यक्रमास विशेष उत्साहपूर्ण वातावरण लाभले.

‘संवाद ते संकल्प’ या संकल्पनेतून विचारांची देवाणघेवाण करत भारताच्या उज्ज्वल भविष्यासाठी सकारात्मक संकल्प करण्याचा संदेश देण्यात आला. आदर्श शैक्षणिक समूह, सकाळ आणि पनवेल टाइम्स यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने आयोजित हा कार्यक्रम विचारप्रवर्तक, प्रेरणादायी आणि यशस्वी ठरला.

On 12th August 2026, the IQAC and NDLI Club of the Library, Shri D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy & Research Center, organized an Essay Writing Competition to celebrate National Librarian’s Day and the birth anniversary of Padma Shri Dr. S. R. Ranganathan. The competition aimed to encourage students to develop their reading and writing skills and to understand the importance of libraries and librarians in education, research, innovation, and the digital era.

The competition was based on two topics: “Libraries as Partners in Research and Innovation” and “Libraries and Librarians: Empowering Minds in the Digital Era.” Students participated enthusiastically and shared their views on the evolving role of libraries in the digital age.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Ashish Jain, Principal; Hon. Shri Dhanrajji Vispute, Chairman; and Hon. Mrs. Sangeeta Vispute, Secretary, Adarsh Group of Institutes, with the support of the NDLI Club members. IQAC and NSS Unit of Shri D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy & Research Center, New Panvel, organized a session on “Life and Meditation” on 8th August 2026 at 10:30 a.m. onwards. The session was conducted by Dr. Pankaj Mhatre, M.D. (Ayurveda), Founder & Director, Medicayurx Science Foundation.

The session focused on the importance of meditation, a balanced lifestyle, and holistic well-being, integrating medical and scientific perspectives. Dr. Mhatre highlighted the role of meditation in promoting mental peace, concentration, emotional balance, stress management, and overall well-being.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Ashish Jain, Principal, Shri Dhanrajji Vispute, Chairman, and Hon. Mrs. Sangeeta Vispute, Secretary, Adarsh Group of Institutes. The IQAC Unit of Shri D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy & Research Centre, New Panvel, organized a seminar on “Career Opportunities in Clinical Research”on 7th August 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.The seminar aimed to create awareness among students about the growing scope of clinical research and diverse career opportunities in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. The session was conducted by Dr. Vidula Nachiket Pendharkar, Ayurvedic Doctor and Master’s in Clinical Research, who provided valuable insights into clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, clinical data management, regulatory affairs, and medical writing. The session highlighted the importance of clinical research in the development and evaluation of medicines and healthcare products. The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr. Sunita Gagare, Prof. Nikita Rokade, and Prof. Sneha Sirsat, under the able leadership of Dr. Ashish Jain, Principal, and with the valuable guidance and support of Hon. Shri Dhanrajji Vispute, Chairman, and Hon. Mrs. Sangeeta Vispute, Secretary, Adarsh Group of Institutes.
