The Hindi Department of The Laidlaw Memorial School and Junior College proudly conducted the Inter-House Hindi Debate Competition 2026–27, providing students with an opportunity to express their thoughts with clarity, conviction, and respect for diverse perspectives.

The event witnessed passionate arguments, thoughtful discussions, and exceptional public speaking skills as participants demonstrated their command over the Hindi language and their ability to think critically.

At Laidlaw, we believe that debates are not just about winning an argument—they are about learning to listen, reason, and communicate effectively.

The Tamil Department of The Laidlaw Memorial School & Junior College, Ketti proudly hosted the Inter House Tamil Debate, where our young minds passionately exchanged ideas on the thought-provoking topic:

"இன்றைய மாணவர்கள் நேரத்தை அதிகம் செலவிட விரும்புவது குடும்பத்தினருடனே! நண்பர்களுடனே!"

From compelling arguments to confident rebuttals, our students showcased exceptional oratory skills, critical thinking, and the richness of the Tamil language.

A platform where every voice mattered and every perspective was valued.
