Glimpse of Independence Day celebration-2023 in my campus.

"World Youth Skills Day" celebrated on 15th July 2023 by the Staff and Students of Govt. Polytechnic, Nuapada and Govt. ITI Khariar Road in association with District Employment Office, Nuapada. The team started a rally from Collectorate office Nuapada, which was flag off by ADM, Nuapada Sir, then the team march across the town with slogans to create awareness among the youths & parents about the importance of skill education in entire word. Winners of different skills activities conducted, were felicitated in the meeting conducted at Govt. Polytechnic, Nuapada, followed by plantation. Invited Guest of the meeting Smt. M. Sahu, CDO-Cum-EO, Nuapada enlightened the students about the day.

In a major step towards promoting skill training in future technologies, Government has announced NUA Odisha (Nutana Unnata Abhilasha) Scheme. ₹100 Cr has been allocated in for this scheme to give a major boost to the skill ecosystem.

Under this scheme, one lakh young men and women will be trained in futuristic skills like Cloud Computing, AI, Augmented Reality, Data Science, 3D Printing etc.

Leveraging skill development for economic transformation, Government has allocated ₹986 Cr for Skill Development & Technical Education in . This will further enhance the employability of youth of the State.

₹241 Cr will be spent on transformation of Technical Institutes & ITIs while ₹100 Cr has been provided to promote industry linked training. Another ₹100 Cr & ₹10 Cr have been allocated for NUA Odisha & Sudakhya Scheme respectively.
