Getting Started with HSPICE: Understand why we need circuit simulators, explore the differences between SPECTRA and HSPICE netlists, and learn the fundamental structure of an HSPICE netlist using a simple voltage divider example.

Error Debugging & Warning Analysis: Avoid common industry pitfalls by mastering circuit topology rules, fixing reference node or dangling node issues, and resolving tricky convergence and .OPTION WDF errors.

Essential Circuit Analysis: Gain a deep understanding of core simulation types including DC Analysis (comparing .print vs .probe, operating point analysis, and .TEMP statements), Transient Analysis (RC unit step response, pulse signals, delay calculations, and .measure statements), and AC Analysis.

Model Files & PDK Integration: Learn how to include industrial Process Design Kits (PDKs) using .lib statements, leverage .param and .data blocks for parametric sweeps, and write complete inverter netlists from scratch.

Unlike traditional SPICE tutorials, this course focuses on helping you understand why a simulation behaves the way it does.
