Had the joy of designing and facilitating a 𝟯-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 - exploring simple, creative ways to make Book Club sessions more joyful, engaging and child-friendly. 🌱

From 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱-𝗮𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆, 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, we explored how the books already available at Learning Resource Centres can become powerful tools for imagination, conversation and connection.

The facilitators didn't just learn the strategies—they 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺, 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝘁! 🎭📖

It's about 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬, 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞. 💬✨

I had the joy of conducting this workshop that brought together 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 at childrenindia_ 🙌
We explored 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 to make Book Club sessions more 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥.

Through 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠📖, 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐬 🗣️, 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬 🎭, 𝐩𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐬🧸, 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 🎲, and 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬🤝, they discovered how books can become 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨— helping nurture 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, and a 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠. ❤️

✨ Successfully conducted an engaging online workshop on “Play & Drama-Based Pedagogy – Making Learning Joyful, Interactive & Meaningful” with 70+ enthusiastic educators joining from different schools and learning spaces.

The session focused on transforming classrooms through:
