Behind every quiet child, there may be a feeling waiting to be heard. 🌼

Conducted a gentle and interactive storytelling session based on Jhooth Ka Parda by Asha Nehemiah .books with children supported by an NGO working towards rebuilding lives with care, trust, and hope. πŸ’›

Through puppets, stories, emotions, and art, we explored:
✨ courage

✨ Stories were written, confidence was built, and young voices were celebrated. ✨

16 wonderful children from and stepped into the world of creative writing at Katha Utsav under the mentorship of πŸ“šβœοΈ
What followed was nothing short of inspiring eager submissions, curious minds, and the joy of learning from expert faculty.

With 12 children selected for the Regional Workshop and 2 for the National Workshop, this journey became a milestone they’ll always remember 🌟
More than selections, it was about discovering the power of their words and believing in their stories.

Grateful to the team for creating such meaningful platforms that nurture imagination, creativity, and the storyteller within every child πŸ’›

πŸ“–βœ¨ Reading Club at Little Bookshelf βœ¨πŸ“–

Our young readers recently journeyed into the imaginative world of The Magic Finger by Roald Dahl β€” a story that teaches the importance of empathy, kindness, and understanding others’ feelings.

To conclude the book, the children engaged in a series of creative and reflective activities that helped them connect deeply with the story. From drawing their favorite scenes and sequencing the storyline, to making a comic strip of the book, writing thoughtful reflections, and discussing the emotions of the characters β€” every activity encouraged them to think, imagine, and express themselves freely.

They even pledged to be more empathetic towards plants and animals around them, beautifully reflecting the values the story inspires πŸŒ±πŸ¦πŸ’š

These sessions are more than just reading; they are about building confidence, creativity, and communication skills in a joyful and supportive environment. Not just reading, but developing listening skills, comprehension, creative writing through guided prompts, imagination, and emotional intelligence β€” all in one magical space ✨

Watching our little readers bring stories to life through their ideas and artwork is truly magical!

🌟 At Little Bookshelf, we believe that every story is an opportunity for a child to grow, learn, and discover the power of their imagination.
