Water on Mars ?
Based on NASA InSight lander data 2024, a large reservoir of liquid water exists deep within the Martian mid-crust, 11.5–20 km (7–13 miles) below the surface, potentially enough to cover the planet. While surface water is mostly ice and v***r, this deep, fractured rock layer holds water in a liquid state, suggesting a potential, though inaccessible, habitable environment.
