The Centre for Vietnam Studies convened its Research Committee Meeting to review the ongoing work of its current cohort of interns.
The session provided a platform for interns to present their research progress, receive feedback from senior scholars, and discuss potential policy outputs and publications emerging from their projects on India–Vietnam relations.🇮🇳🇻🇳

Successful conclusion of the 14-day Academic Workshop on the "Facets of India-Vietnam Partnership," jointly organized by the Centre for Vietnam Studies, New Delhi, India Foundation and Vietnam Embassy Delhi 🇮🇳🤝🇻🇳

The valedictory address was delivered by H.E. Amb. Ton Sinh Thanh, Former Ambassador of Vietnam to India, on the theme “Emerging Areas of Cooperation & Future Trajectories of the Partnership.” The session offered valuable reflections on the evolving India–Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and its future possibilities.

Over the course of 12 intensive sessions, this workshop brought together distinguished diplomats, scholars, policy experts, and historians to explore the vast dimensions of bilateral relations. From ancient civilizational links and Champa heritage to strategic defense alignment, trade potential, startup ecosystems, and soft power diplomacy, these two weeks demonstrated that the bond between India and Vietnam is rooted in history and built for the future.
