Success story of a Chartered Accountant
From a School failure to a Chartered Accountant in first attempt
My name is CA Ankit Bandhu, I am sharing my story of becoming a Chartered Accountant from a big big duffer at school level yes a big duffer I could never even make upto 33% to get pass. I am thankful to my school who always got me promoted passπ. But how long my school would have supported me, they gave me a gift of compartment in 9th classπ I was so dumb and duffur at that time that I was rather happy that students diid get compartment in two subject but I got compartment in one subject only. I came back home and told the result to my mom. I did not know that those words from my mom was going to change my entire life and those words were:
"at least i expected you to get pass. look at your sister and cousins they only talk in 95% and you could not even manage to get 33%."
I could see my parents feeling ashamed when any of us relative asked them my result.
If I had again been got promoted pass then I might not have seen the beautiful journey which was going to come across my way. I somehow managed to clear my compartment paper but then thereafter I never looked back but at the same time I knew it was not a Bollywood movie that things would turn around overnight. After a lots of hardwork putting everything, I could manage to get 62% in 10th standardπ and 80% in 12th standard. when I told my result to my friends they told me "Tere itne aa gye wahi bahut hai" ππ.
Then I decided to prove everyone that i am worthy, me and my frndz enrolled for CA. I cleared CPT in first attempt with 140 months months then cleared IPCC in 1st attempt with 66%(more than my 10th standardπ) with exemption in 5 subject and then CA final (each group separately cleared in first attempt) with 61%(489 marks).
Imagine a guy who could never get never get 33%, cleared CA in first attempt and that too with marks equal to a rank holder and those friends who used to make fun of me, now calls me bhai kaise padna hai plz guide kardo.
Yes they were intelligent but I was hardworking. In CA, the only thing matters is HARDWORD.
A beautiful quote that i followed was:
"Hardwork beats the intelligence when intelligence does not work hard"
I have recently been placed in CA Campus at a very reputed company with the handsome package.
My elder sister is preparing for govt. teacher. Now my mom says agr tu apne bhai ki tarah pad le to 10 din me govt. teacher ban jaegiπ. then I made my mom realise her statement that she had spoken when i failed in 9th standard. We all cried and those were the tears of happiness. This is what your hardword can give you and will defenitely give once you become a CA.
I was very fond of playing cricket, but when i enrolled for ca, since i was not very intelligent, could never manage sport with my studies and as i have to prove that i can do it, skipped my cricket. but after becoming CA apne park me lights laga di because i just not only wanted to play in day but also in nightsππ.. puri 5saal ki kasar nikal di... my advice to CA aspirants would be you can fulfill all your dream after being a CA just dont be carried away now...focus on your studies first.
yes CA does take away your happiness, freinds, relatives, gym, freedom, even you gfπ
, but believe me once you become CA, you will feel everything was worth sacrificing.π
Now i wish everyone a good luck and if I can do it, you are the stars you can easily do it all it requires hardwork and determination.
and a last quote, "it does not matter how you start, what all matter is how you end"
