The students of *Women’s Development Cell, NCC, and NSS of Janki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi* were a part of the *Nari Shakti* event organised at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 13th April, 2026.
The program aimed to celebrate and strengthen the role of Women in nation building while also inspiring young women to actively participate in shaping a progressive and inclusive India. Insightful addresses by Smt.Vijaya Kishore Rahatkar, Smt. Rekha Gupta, Smt.
Annpurna Devi, and Hon. Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi inspired all the participants. Important conversations focused on programmes like the Jal Jeevan Mission, the Ujjwala Yojana, and women’s involvement in politics. A strong national commitment to women’s development was reflected in the session’s emphasis on advancements in health, education, and economic empowerment. The occasion provided a platform for inspiration, reaffirming the goal of sustainable and inclusive development under the leadership of strong, independent women.
