And just like that, a year of purpose, passion, and people comes to an end. 🌿💛
As this NSS session closes, we’re walking away with more than memories — we carry lessons, friendships, and the quiet pride of knowing we gave our time to something bigger than ourselves.

To the late-night planning, the bittersweet moments, the laughter between events, the chaos before the calm, the hours served, and the hearts touched — thank you for shaping us. This wasn’t just a team. It was a family in service.

It’s hard to say goodbye, but this isn’t the end — just the beginning of many more stories waiting to be written by each of us, wherever we voyage.

Hopeful that NSS brings in more such volunteers ready to steer their way out to serve a greater cause, much more than a mere validating certificate. Until then, signing off!!

If you were at Riwayat, you already know — it wasn’t just a ceremony, it was a full-blown NSS fest 🔥

We brought the energy, the moves, and the moments that made us feel everything at once — joy, pride, nostalgia, and that “we really did it” kind of high. 💃💫 From electrifying dance performances to well-deserved shoutouts and surprises, the entire day was buzzing with celebration.

It was the perfect send-off to a year filled with hustle, heart, and a whole lot of action. This wasn’t goodbye — it was a mic drop 🎤

We didn’t just close the year. We owned it.

This year, NSS wasn’t just about clocking hours — it was about building connections, creating change, and showing up with purpose, every single time. From cleanliness drives to community outreach, we moved as one — with intent and impact. 💪🌱

Riwayat, our official closing ceremony, brought all those moments together in the most meaningful way. We began by warmly welcoming our Chief Guest, Captain Dr. Sunaina Singh, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp — a symbol of knowledge, clarity, and new beginnings. 🌼🪔
Tributes were paid to our guiding forces and mentors, setting a tone of gratitude and reflection.

The event was a celebration of effort — the late nights, the teamwork, the quiet wins no one saw, but we all felt. Through every beat of a performance and every name called for recognition, Riwayat reminded us that service is not just what we do, but who we become.

The chapter may close here, but the spirit lives on.

🚦 Road Safety: A Responsibility, Not an Option! 🚦

“Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but foresight is better, especially when it comes to saving a life or some pain.” – William Blake 💫

On March 18, 2025, NSS Gargi, in collaboration with Rotary Club Janak and Delhi Police, hosted a transformative Road Safety Seminar. From teaching life-saving CPR techniques to introducing guardian angel features of Himmat App, our sessions reinforced that road safety isn’t just about following rules—it’s about saving lives. 🚗💡

Discussions on road rage and mental health shed light on the often-overlooked emotional aspects of road safety, ensuring that awareness extends beyond traffic rules. A hard-hitting Nukkad Natak by COHAS NGO turned these lessons into an unforgettable experience. 🎭✨

A huge thank you to our speakers, performers, and every participant who joined this meaningful mission. Let’s keep driving change—one step at a time. 🛣

✨International Women’s Day: Empowered Voices, United Actions ✨

“I alone can not change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples”~ Mother Teresa 🌊💙

On March 8, 2025, NSS Gargi College joined hands with BUDS and JMC to celebrate International Women’s Day in the most empowering way possible! 🌸🩷

With handmade placards, voices raised in unison, and unwavering determination, our volunteers took to the streets in a Rally for Change, advocating for women’s empowerment, education, safety, and rights. The rally wasn’t just a march—it was a statement, a bold step towards a future where equality isn’t just an idea, but a reality.🚶‍♀✊

Yet it was just the beginning. What followed was a cultural extravaganza that touched hearts, sparked conversations and inspired action. From thought-provoking skits shedding light on women’s education and safety to our soul-stirring choir performance of “Bekhauf,” every act amplified the message of courage and equality.🎭🎵

However, empowerment isn’t just about speaking up, it’s also about lifting others up. So, to turn awareness into action, our volunteers conducted a menstrual hygiene session and Pad Donation Drive—because dignity and health should never be a privilege, but a right. 🩸♥️

As Maya Angelou said, “Each time a woman stands up for herself, she stands up for all women.” And on this day, we stood tall together—learners, volunteers, and community members—united in our vision for a more equitable world. 💫🌎
