August 6th and 7th witnessed the GSSP team organise one of our concluding events, a theatre workshop facilitated by Chirag Thakkar and Mrinmoyee Majumdar. Stretching over the weekend, the workshop saw incredible engagement from our participants, who brought with them a wealth of experience and knowledge. Mentally, emotionaly and physically stimulating, the workhop worked with as well as trained the participants in techniques derived from the tradition of the Theatre of the Oppressed (TO).

Hello everyone! The WDC of Aditi Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi, with support from GSSP, recently organised the staging of the play 'The Gift'. Scripted by Tripurari Sharma, directed by Manish Saini and presented by Theatre Initiative, the play was an interactive experience for the students of the college who participated in the exchange and discussed some ideas of gender inequalities and the hopes and dreams of a rapidly growing middle class.

A workshop on 'Understanding Sexuality/ies in School Sites and Pedagogic Interventions' was conducted at Aditi Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi on 6th August, 2016. Organised by the Women's Development Cell (WDC) of the college and supported by GSSP, more than a hundred students and several teachers participated in the event, wherein the WDC members as well as Prof. Mona Yadav and Dr. Indu Kumar conducted various sessions based on a movie showcase and discussions took place on a variety of themes which emerged from the students organically.

Cheers everyone! We conducted a workshop today (5th August 2016) at Ambedkar University in collaboration with CPSH, facilitated by Chirag Thakkar. 25 workers from Non-teaching staff participated. We had lots of fun and interesting conversations were raised.

Registrations for the event are now, however, closed. We will inform the interested participants soon whether their name is on the final list or not, since we can only accommodate a limited number of people.

March saw us conduct another one of our workshops. Our friends from Nazariya: A Q***r Feminist Resource Group facilitated this workshop as well, wherein we engaged with the students of CIC.
