We are delighted to share that our young Adarshian Saanvi Thakur had participated in Renaissance - an Interschool competition hoisted by New Era Public School, Dwarka. She brought laurels to the school by bagging First position in Storyboard Bonanza. She made an astounding comic strip on the topic of super heroes. She has been felicitated with a trophy for her remarkable achievement.
Heartiest congratulations to her and to Ms. Rita Gupta and Ms. Monika Sharma for mentoring the child.

It is a matter of great pride for our school as Neel Rai, Aavya Goyal, Tejas Thakur, Vivaan Kumar, Tiana Ahuja and Ayaan Thakur of our school bagged the first position in the event Stellar Vanture of Spardha'24, an Interschool hoisted by Adarsh World School, Dwarka.
They were applauded for their wonderful performance. They all were felicitated with the certificates and gifts for their remarkable achievement.

Pajama Day is a fun day for kids before summer vacation starts. The Pajama Party was organised for the students of Pre School and Pre Primary on 15th May, 2024.There was an amazing blend of colorful Pajamas, mushy pillows,soft toys and twinkling lights during the 'Pajama Party'. Children were dressed up in their Sleepwear cuddling their favourite soft toy.
The objective behind the Pajama party was to assert independence amongst children, to develop social connection and to inculcate the habit of sharing their food and toys with friends. It was truly mesmerizing to see the little tots energetic and cheerful.

To honour all lovely mommies, our tiny tots celebrated mother's day. They danced for their moms and made a beautiful flower stick puppet wherein they pasted their mother's picture. The day was graced by the presence of Ms. Anjali Marwah, headmistress Adarsh Public School.
*Shapes surround us in form of all different objects.*
Little learners were taught about four basic shapes like circle, square,triangle and rectangle throughout the week. Revision of all these shapes was conducted by taking up funny activities like hopscotch with the shape, making of a hut with all four shapes and picking up the right shape.

Rectangle shape was taught to Play Group students on last day of Shape Week. They were shown various examples of Rectangle shape in their surroundings. They thoroughly enjoyed learning about the new shape.

In honor of Mother's Day our Little Adarshians of Pre School and Pre Primary poured their hearts into creating personalized beautiful cards for their beloved mothers. With colourful bunch of hearts they designed the cards and wrote heartfelt message inside the card for their caring mothers. The day that recognize the essence of mother was celebrated with high spirits. Through this lovely gesture, our children celebrated irreplaceable bond with their mothers and created memories to cherish for lifetime.

Of all the bonds we share during our lifetime, the most special one is the one that we have with our mothers! On this “Mothers’ Day’, the students of class V designed beautiful pieces of jewellery for their wonderful mothers, so as to make them feel special and loved. And what better gifts could be for them than the ones prepared by their budding artists with their own hands!
The competition was a vibrant celebration of creativity and skill for the students as they showcased an impressive array of designs using colourful clay, dough, wool, threads, cardboard etc. The intricate jewellery pieces were placed artistically in jewellery cases by the students Their ability to transform ordinary materials into stunning pieces of art left the judges in awe. The Headmistress Ms. Anjali Marwah appreciated the participants’ zeal and motivated all to keep their competitive spirits high.

In honor of Mother's Day, the children of Class 1 poured their hearts into creating personalized heart-shaped cards for their beloved mothers. With colorful paper, glitter, and flowers , they crafted tokens of love adorned with heartfelt message and designs.
Amidst laughter and shared memories, the classroom became a vibrant canvas of affection as each child expressed their gratitude for their mother's love and guidance. Through these heartfelt gestures, the children celebrated the irreplaceable bond they shared with their mothers, creating memories to cherish for a lifetime.
“Mother's love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible." Mothers are a priceless gift from God and a perfect amalgamation of love, devotion and sacrifice. The bond of a mother and her child is inexplicable. To show the love and respect to their mothers, the young, enthusiastic and adorable Adarshians celebrated this most special day with some memorable performances. Tiny tots came up with dance, song and skit to convey gratitude to their moms and an important message of being humble, respectful and obedient to the parents for their unconditional love. All in all it was an enjoyable and memorable day for each and every child which left an indubitable mark on the innocent hearts.

Words are not enough to thank for all that mothers do to us. To express gratitude and love to their mothers, students of Adarsh Public School , Class IV, participated enthusiastically in Tiara-making Competition. They decorated the tiaras with beautiful hand-made flowers, beads, glitters, stones and stickers. It was indeed the prettiest jewel for their adorable mothers. They showcased their hardwork, dedication and conditional love for their moms. The judges were spell-bound by the creativity of the students.
Learning shapes not only helps children identify and organize visual information but also help them recognize, analyze, and categorize different shapes like Square, Circle, Rectangle and Triangle. Keeping this in mind, Shape week was organised for Pre Schoolers where we organised various activities and games for different shapes.
Children participated with great enthusiasm and enjoyed different activities.
Learning Shapes not only helps children identify and organize visual information, it helps them learn skills in other curriculum areas. In order to make our Little Adarshians learn different shapes Our School has organised Shape Week from May 6th to 9th 2024. Students of Pre Primary learnt different shapes like Oval, Semicircle,Heart and Diamond. Students played simple games about learning shapes. A funfilled and joyful activities provided to our little ones to develop and showcase their talents. Students were shown different objects or cutouts of different shapes for better learning. For Oval shape our toddlers Create attractive penguins , for semicircle - jellyfish, for heart -yummy strawberries in which kids did earbud printing and for diamond they created beautiful crowns.Shapes related Songs and short stories were also introduced to our young ones. Learning basic shapes is much more fun. Little ones enjoyed learning it with zeal.

Our school has organised a *Flameless Cooking Competition* for the students of Class III. It was an initiative to show their love and gestures to their mothers. The taste of Mother's recipes are unforgettable and connects you with childhood. With the view, students were motivated to prepare their mother's best recipe without using flame. They learnt about the nutrition values for the same. Through this activity, students were able to develop a spirit of teamwork, delegation of work and appreciation for the hard work put into cooking by mothers.
They served their recipes to the judges, Ms.Sakshi and Ms.Preeti. They appreciated the presentation of dishes done by team members. The students thoroughly enjoyed the competition as well as the food.
*A triangle is a shape with three sides or three corners.*
Keeping this in mind, toddlers were acquainted about triangle shape by showing various triangular shaped objects like sandwich, nachos, pizza pie etc. Young minds were thoroughly explained about the concept.
*_A square is a shape with four equal sides. The opposite sides of a square are parallel._*
Keeping this in mind, little adarshians were taught about square shape through various activities. They were explained that a square has its all sides equal.
A circle is a very easy and simple shape to learn, identify and draw. In fact, when kids start holding a pencil or a crayon, they try to make circle patterns automatically. Keeping this in mind, little adarshians were acquainted with circle shape today. Various funfilled activities were conducted to train young minds.
Labour Day is a reminder of the immense contributions and achievements of the labour movement across the world. A special assembly dedicated to helpers of the school was organized by our tiny tots of Class Pre Primary and Class I. The students performed a role play representing different helpers like Doctor, Teacher, Fire Fighter, etc and spoke about their contribution to the society. Young toddlers also danced to helpers song. They paid tribute to the helpers of our school by distributing gifts and cards as a token of love and gratitude. Our Headmistress, Ms. Anjali Marwah appreciated all the helpers of the school for working tirelessly to serve the institution .

Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd April every year. It serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and preserve our environment for future generations. To make students be more responsible to protect the Mother Earth an Inter House Group Song Singing Competition was organised for the students of Class V. Through this competition we aimed to raise awareness and inspire action towards a greener and more sustainable world. All the four houses had the opportunity to showcase their creativity and passion for the planet through their musical talent. They were judged on the basis of rhythm, synchronisation, expressions, costume, props and overall presentation. The competition was judged by guest judges from Adarsh Public School, Balinagar Ms. Jaspinder Kaur and Ms. Himani Chaddha. They appreciated the hardwork of the students and were awestruck by their melodious and mellifluous presentation.

April 22, celebrated as Earth Day was initiated to inspire all to rejoice and cherish the beautiful planet and to awaken the people on how they can be an asset in saving the Earth from pollution, global warming, water scarcity and other several concerns. We have always believed in grooming the learners to become alert citizens who can contribute positively in safeguarding and protecting this planet by instilling the belief that each one of them can become ‘Guardian of the Globe’.
To sensitize the students about the beauty of nature and to enhance their imagination and creativity, Adarsh Public School organised a English Recitation Competition for the students of Class 4 on the theme 'Nature'.
The participants showcased their versatility by reciting beautiful poems. They performed with confidence and much enthusiasm. The children were appreciated by the judges and audience for their brilliant performances.

The participants showcased their versatility through their well-thought, vibrant and creative costumes. They adorned themselves in thought-provoking costumes inspired by the wonders of nature, showcasing their love and appreciation for the natural world. From majestic trees to elusive creatures, every costume was a testament to the boundless beauty found in our environment. They performed with confidence and much enthusiasm. The children awed the judges and audience with their brilliant performances. The Nature-themed Fancy Dress Competition was a resounding success, bringing together participants and spectators alike to celebrate the beauty and importance of nature.

Gross motor skills help kids attain better grip and muscular control over things held. Keeping in mind the benefits of gross motor activities and the theme "All About Me" in mind, children were provided with bits of paper which they pasted as hair in the miniatures of boy and girl. The session kept kids deeply engrossed and was thoroughly enjoyed by tiny tots.
*Facial Expressions are a window to the soul and chance to develop the kind of emotional intelligence that gives real grace and space for the feelings of others.*
"My Emotions-My Expressions" Activity was conducted for Pre Primary Students of Adarsh Public School on April 16, 2024. Students were introduced different facial expressions through cutouts and related video on smartboard. They were so excited for learning expressions and were encouraged to show emotions by their own.Students really enjoyed alot and learnt different emotions.
