🚔 **Taloja Central Jail Visit**

**Dr G K Dongargaonkar law college** organized an educational visit to **Taloja Central Jail** for First-Year LL.B students.

It was an insightful experience that helped us understand the real working of the jail system and criminal justice process.

🙏 Special thanks to **HOD Vaishali Borade Ma’am** and **Assistant Professor Sandip Awaghade Sir** for their guidance and support.

We also thank the **Jailer and police officers** for sharing valuable information and showing us all departments of the jail.

🎓 Educational Visit to Bombay High Court, Mumbai ⚖️

On 27th April 2026, students of Dr. G.K. Dongargawkar Law College had the incredible opportunity to visit the prestigious Bombay High Court. This visit was a truly enriching and practical learning experience beyond classroom education.

🔹 Courtroom Experience:
Students observed live court proceedings, gaining real-time insight into courtroom practices, legal arguments, and judicial decision-making. It was a valuable opportunity to understand the practical aspects of law and courtroom discipline.

🔹 Historic Courtroom Visit:
We also visited Court Room No. 46, where the historic case of Bal Gangadhar Tilak was once heard. Being present in such a historically significant courtroom was a proud and memorable experience, connecting us deeply with India’s legal and freedom struggle history.

🔹 Museum Visit:
The High Court museum showcased the rich history of the judiciary, including important milestones, historical records, and portraits of eminent judges since 1862.

🔹 Judges’ Library Tour:
Students explored the well-equipped Judges’ Library, which highlighted the importance of research, legal knowledge, and continuous learning in the legal profession.

This visit helped students understand the real functioning of the judicial system and inspired them to pursue excellence in the field of law.
