A Road Made From Waste Plastics @ Place- Jamshedpur India :)

Good way to recycle the plastic and preventing further damage to the environment.

Plastic-cum-tar roads is 25 per cent better than unmodified roads and is almost 200 per cent resistant to soaking up water. The maintenance cost of the road is very low, while its durability is high. The roads reportedly need no repairing for at least five years.

On the occasion on ENGINEER'S DAY, we SOChE are organizing a one day visit to RCF PLANT, CHEMBUR (for T.E. Chemical Engg. students).
Following are the details:
1. Venue: Chembur.
2. Salient features about the visit:
a) Visit to Sulphuric Acid and Methanol plant.
b) Tests and certificates of participation.
c) Food: Breakfast + Lunch + Tea.
3. Date: 15th, September 2012.
4. Entry Fee: Rs. 450/-(INCLUSIVE OF ALL EXPENSES).
5. Dress Code: Formal clothes and shoes.
