“English Grammar ka base = Parts of Speech
Roz seekho, roz improve karo
1.Noun (संज्ञा)
Naam batata hai – Person / Place / Thing
Example:
Ram is a boy.
Ram ek ladka hai.
2. Pronoun (सर्वनाम)
Noun ki jagah aata hai
Example:
He is my brother.
Woh mera bhai hai.
3.Verb (क्रिया)
Kaam ya action batata hai
Example:
I eat food.
Main khana khata hoon.
4. Adjective (विशेषण)
Noun ki quality batata hai
Example:
She is a good girl.
Woh achchi ladki hai.
5. Adverb (क्रिया-विशेषण)
Verb ki quality batata hai
Example:
He runs fast.
Woh tez daudta hai.
6. Preposition (संबंध बताने वाला शब्द)
Relation batata hai
Example:
Book is on the table.
Kitab table par hai.
7. Conjunction (संयोजक)
Jodne wala word
Example:
Ram and Shyam are friends.
Ram aur Shyam dost hain.
8. Interjection (भाव प्रकट करने वाला शब्द)
Feeling batata hai
Example:
Oh! I am late.
Arey! main late ho gaya.

Rule 1️⃣ : Kab s / es / ies lagta hai?

👉 Jab Subject = He / She / It / Single person ho
👉 Tab verb ke saath s / es / ies lagta hai

Rule 2️⃣ : Simple “S” kab lagta hai?

👉 Jab verb normal ho

Formula:
Verb + s

Examples

play → plays

He plays cricket.
👉 वह क्रिकेट खेलता है।

eat → eats

She eats food.
👉 वह खाना खाती है।

read → reads

He reads a book.
👉 वह किताब पढ़ता है।

Rule 3️⃣ : “ES” kab lagta hai?

👉 Jab verb ch, sh, s, x, o, z par khatam ho

Formula:
Verb + es

Examples

go → goes

He goes to school.
👉 वह स्कूल जाता है।

watch → watches

She watches TV.
👉 वह टीवी देखती है।

wash → washes

He washes clothes.
👉 वह कपड़े धोता है।

pass → passes

She passes the exam.
👉 वह परीक्षा पास करती है।

Rule 4️⃣ : “IES” kab lagta hai?

👉 Jab verb consonant + y par khatam ho
👉 y hatao + ies lagao

Examples

study → studies

He studies English.
👉 वह अंग्रेज़ी पढ़ता है।

carry → carries

She carries a bag.
👉 वह बैग उठाती है।

fly → flies

It flies in the sky.
👉 यह आसमान में उड़ता है।
