A Capacity Building Programme on Art Integration was successfully organised at Podar International School,Gangapur on April 25, 2026, with the aim of enhancing innovative teaching practices among educators.

The programme was organized under the guidance of the school Principal, Mr. Avinash Lohar, who emphasized the importance of integrating art into everyday teaching to make learning more engaging and meaningful for students.

The session was led by distinguished resource persons, Mr. Rahul More, Principal of Little Wonder English School, Sillod, and Dr. Ganesh R. Tarate, Principal of ACE Academy, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. Both experts shared valuable insights, practical strategies, and classroom-based techniques to effectively implement art-integrated learning across subjects.

The event was marked by enthusiastic participation from teachers of Podar International School and was further enriched by the presence of educators from Podar International School, Igatpuri and Ozar . Dr Jasintha Parkhe, Principal of Podar International School, Ozar, also graced the occasion, adding significance to the event.

The training commenced on an auspicious note with a Saraswati Puja, performed by the resource persons along with the Principals, symbolizing the invocation of knowledge and wisdom.

Throughout the session, teachers actively engaged in discussions and activities that highlighted the role of creativity in education. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Guest of Honour, GM and Wing Commander Sameer Wagale Sir, whose distinguished career and inspiring personality added prestige to the occasion. The event was conducted under the able guidance of the respected Principal, Mr. Avinash Lohar Sir, whose vision continues to shape the school’s holistic development approach.
