#बिलावर_GST_लागतोय...
तुम्हाला बाहेर हॉटेल/रेस्ट्रॉरंट/बार जाऊन जेवणाची सवय आहे?
बहुतेक वेळेस तुम्ही बाहेरच जेवत असाल तर ही तुमच्यासाठी फार उपयुक्त माहिती आहे.
आजकाल बघाव तिथे बिलावर GST लावलेला दिसतोय....पण हा किती (%) असावा? त्याचा नंबर बिलावर आहे का? नमुद केलेला नंबर खरचं योग्य आहे का? आपण पे केलेला टँक्स हा खरचं गवर्नमेंटला मिळतोय का??
हे मला वाटत नाही कोणी बील मिळाल्यावर बघत असेल पण एक जागरूक नागरिक म्हणून ते बघणे खुप गरजेचे आहे.
पुण्यात २अशा घटना घडल्यात, तिथे आधी GST नंबर बिलावर नमूद नसतांना ही पैसे घेणे चालू होते आणि तो पैसे सरळ मालकाला मिळत होता.
तर दुसर्या ठिकाणी नंबर होता पण तो रजिस्टर नव्हता!!
आता हे हॉटेल/रेस्टोरेंट जर आपल्याला बील वर GST लावत असेल तर त्यावर प्रथम नंबर आहे का ते बघावे. मग तो नंबर योग्य का नाही हे पण बघून घ्यावे आणि तस नसल्यास टँक्स भरण्यास नकार द्यावा. तशी अॉनलाईन रितसर कंप्लेंट करावी. ह्या गोष्टीने तुमचा वेळ अजिबात जाणार नाहीये. उलट एक जागरूक नागरिक म्हणून तुम्ही अनेकांचे आदर्श बनाल.

Non registered businesses not allowed to charge GST and still this restaurants collecting 18% GST. They are charging us wrong GST since last few days. TOTALLY AGAINST THE LAW.
They must be refunded tax amount if they was not register or don't have GST number.
Those are the rules and process to check, that Hotels are registered or not!!
1) How to identify register or unregister dealer?
Register dealer should print GST number on their bill.

3) What are the GST rates to restaurants?
- For non-AC/non-alcohol serving hotels, it is 12%
- For AC/alcohol-serving hotels, it is 18%
4) Is 'Service Charge' mandatory in restaurants?
- As per govt. guidelines, You can refuse to pay the 'service charge' that restaurants put on your bill if you are unhappy with the service.
- It is totally voluntary and not mandatory.
- If a restaurant insists on customers paying the service charge, you can file a complaint in consumer court
