The most awaited day of the year was our yesterday DLS school (Unit of Ekta Foundation) picnic at Delhi. The school picnic was for the students of Jr.KG to Grade V.

We started at 9.00 am in the morning with prayer and a feeling of a great day ahead. The students were extremely excited and kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue.

Our students visited Science Museum , India Gate, Children park and Bal Bhawan .Every child was given an opportunity to participate and enjoy themselves. The most enjoyable time was in the play area with swings, slides, merry-go-round, see saw, and spring animals. After a tiring and fun packed morning we all headed for lunch . The group photograph time motivated students to make funny faces for the click!

All the students expressed a desire to revisit the place again. Indeed it was a great day for all the students and teachers, as it strengthened the bond between the students and their teachers.
It was a sound and safe return trip by 6.30 pm. “Cheers”.

Diwali is the festival of lights which is celebrated in various regions across India. The name ‘Deepavali’ literally means an ‘array of lights’. To make the students understand the importance of Diwali, DLS School, Delhi (Unit of Ekta Foundation) celebrate today. Teachers explained the importance of Diwali, the festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. Children decorated diyas with colors and glitter.
Both Teachers and students enjoyed the Diwali celebrations wholeheartedly. . All of them carried one or the other message. Our Principal made the speech in the end. He urged the students not to play with fireworks on this festival. He also wished that the whole of India might be healthier and more prosperous.

We, DLS School Delhi celebrate 75 Years of Independence Day - Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 13th August 2022. The programme began with floral tribute to our late vice principle. Through the cultural programme our students had displayed dance, drama and interesting completion and quiz show on about our freedom fighter those are sacrificing their life for freedom. The event ended with a prize and certificate distribution of participants and thought " Ham laaye hain toofaan se kashti nikaal ke - Iss desh ko rakhana mere bachchon sambhaal ke... Jai Hind !

Rainy season started with lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The students were geared up and were looking forward for various activities that educate, brighten and enlighten their little brilliant minds. Since this was the day one of the weekly activity of the session, an opportunity was given to them to express their views in the new class with a new feel. This week’s activities were based on creative with waste materials. It was an amazing .
