At Centurion University, effort and interest is highly appreciated and mentored properly for nourishment. We understand that writing programs and doing projects is the right way to build not just foundations, but also interest and passion for the discipline. We also concluded our students must be proficient in programming languages, and have capability to code on their own. Centurion offers you a set of core courses – with concepts we believe all must learn; and with a large number of electives. The electives are offered based on student interest, so you have a choice in what you want to learn (Syllabus). We have diverse methods of learning at Centurion, beyond the classroom and traditional chalk and talk. Some of these include:
-Outcome/Project based teaching/mentoring.
-Programming Labs with Mentors
-Courseware in a Tablet.
-Workshops, with both internal and external faculty
-Faculty from the industry.
-Challenges for Students from Industry
-Doing projects together with industry, to enhance their offering.
-Summer Training.
-Building software for the university, so we learn from our experience, and that becomes useful for industry.
-Center of Excellence.
-Foster Parents who mentor you outside the classroom, on both technical and personal issues.
-Learning from Peers.
-Special coaching for employability.
-Corporate Readiness Labs as part of academic curriculum.
