R.S Model Sen.Sec.School commemorated World Health Day on April 7, 2026, with resounding fervor, underscoring the institution's commitment to fostering a culture of well-being. Under the esteemed guidance of Mrs. Shubhlata, Headmistress, students enthusiastically participated in a plethora of activities designed to illuminate the paramount importance of health.The day's proceedings commenced with an evocative speech by Bhavika (VIII), who eloquently highlighted the indispensable role of health in holistic development. This was followed by a poignant poem recitation by Mrs. Kawaljit, Science Teacher, which left the audience spellbound. Mrs. Meenakshi Seth's inspiring words further accentuated the significance of this momentous occasion.A declamation contest, adjudicated by Mrs. Neeru Sharma provided a platform for students to articulate their perspectives on health, showcasing their impassioned advocacy for wellness in which Shweta of class 8th,Srishti of class VII,and Purvi of class VII clinched first ,second ,third positions respectively, whereas Navasees of class 6th got consolation prize in category-I ,Bhavna of class XII,Arti of class XII and Nancy of class XII clinched first,second and third positions in category-II. Mrs. Shubhlata extended her warm felicitations to the triumphant participants, exhorting them to continue championing such noble causes and reinforcing the school's ethos of excellence .

Arya Samaj Foundation Day Celebrated at R.S.

March 19,2026: R.S.Model Sr.Sec.School commemorated Arya Samaj Foundation Day with great reverence and enthusiasm under the able guidance of Headmistress Mrs.Shubh Lata. The celebration aimed to highlight the enduring values and teachings of Arya Samaj.
The programme commenced with a soulful bhajan rendered by Mr. Ramesh Shastri, setting a serene and devotional tone for the event. This was followed by a melodious presentation by the musical choir, who captivated the audience with hymns reflecting the principles of Arya Samaj. On this occasion, Mrs Gurjeet Kaur delivered an insightful and inspiring speech on the life of Swami Dayanand Ji. In the end Headmistress Mrs Shubh Lata eloquently explained the significance of Arya Samaj and its relevance in the comtemporary society. The event concluded with the recitation of the Shanti Path, spreading a message of peace, unity and harmony among all present.

World Water Day Celebrated at RS Model Sen. Sec. School

March 13: World Water Day was celebrated at RS Model. Sen. Sec.School with great enthusiasm. The programme was organized by Swami Dayanand Eco Club to spread awareness about water conservation.
A slogan writing activity was conducted in which students participated actively and expressed their ideas about saving water.Aarti of +1 E delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of water in our lives.
The Headmistress, Mrs. Shubhlata, appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students for making the event successful and encouraged everyone to save water for the future.

🌸 Tiny Tots Splash into Colors – Holi Celebration in Kindergarten Wing 🌸

The Kindergarten Wing of RS Model Sr. Sec. School celebrated the vibrant festival of Holi with immense joy and enthusiasm.

The school premises echoed with laughter and excitement as children enjoyed the Holi. Teachers explained the significance of the festival, highlighting the victory of good over evil and the importance of spreading love, happiness, and harmony.
The atmosphere was filled with bright smiles and playful spirits as children exchanged greetings and wished each other “Happy Holi.”

The Headmistress addressed the students and encouraged them to celebrate festivals with joy, unity, and respect for nature by using natural colors and conserving water.

The celebration not only brought colors to the campus but also strengthened the bonds of friendship and togetherness among the young learners, making it a memorable day for all.

*R.S. Commemorates the Birth Anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ji and Rishi Bodhotsav*
February 13, 2026 -- With the aim of teaching moral and cultural values, R.S. Model Senior Secondary School celebrated the birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ji and Rishi Bodhotsav with great respect and devotion under the guidance of Headmistress Mrs. Shubhlata. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a holy Hawan, in which teachers and students took part to pay tribute to Swami Ji. The school music group sang devotional hymns, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. Vanisha of class IX-A spoke about the life and teachings of Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ji and encouraged students to follow his ideals. Lavanya recited a meaningful poem on Rishi Bodhotsav, highlighting values like selflessness, kindness, and honesty. Mrs. Shubhlata praised the efforts of the students and teachers and encouraged everyone to follow the valuable teachings of Swami Ji in their daily lives.

Feb.12,2026-R.S. Model Senior Secondary School organized a solemn hawan ceremony to bid a heartfelt farewell to the students of Class XII. The ceremony was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Mrs. Shubhlata.The Class XII students participated in the sacred ritual and sought the blessings of the Almighty for their bright future and success in the upcoming board examinations. The spiritual atmosphere filled the students with positivity and confidence as they prepare to embark on a new phase of their academic journey.Following the ceremony, students who maintained 100% attendance and those recognized as the most sincere throughout the academic session were honored with awards for their dedication and commitment.On this occasion, Mrs. Shubhlata blessed the students and motivated them to perform their best in the forthcoming examinations. She encouraged them to uphold the values and discipline instilled by the school and to strive for excellence in all their future endeavors.

Wetlands Day Celebrated in School

On 2 February 2026, World Wetlands Day was celebrated in the premises of R.S. Model Senior Secondary School under the guidance of the school Principal, Mrs. Shubh Lata. The programme was organised by the Swami Dayanand Eco Club and conducted by Science teachers Mrs. Meenakshi Seth and Mrs. Raman. The main objective of the programme was to promote awareness about water availability and water conservation.
Students from Classes VI to XII actively participated in the programme. During the event, teacher Mrs. Kamaljeet Kaur made the students aware about the importance of wetlands through a PowerPoint presentation. On this occasion, students Lavanya and Kiranjot Kaur also presented their views on the topic.
The Principal, Mrs. Shubh Lata, shared her thoughts on the importance of wetlands with the students and encouraged them to participate in such inspiring and awareness-oriented activities in the future.
