IKS Lecture Programme: Medicine in Ancient Bharat:
The Department of Education, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of ADP College, organised a lecture programme on “Medicine in Ancient Bharat” on 3rd October 2026. .
Dr. Bapan Banik, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rabindranath Tagore University, was invited as the resource person for the programme. He delivered an informative and engaging lecture, shedding light on the development, knowledge systems and practices of medicine in ancient Bharat.
The programme provided students with an opportunity to gain valuable insights into the historical foundations of traditional medical knowledge and its significance in the broader context of India’s intellectual heritage
