Acharya Vidya Kula

Snake Shyam,a highly renowned, self-taught snake rescuer and wildlife conservationist based in Mysuru (Mysore), visited Acharya Vidya Kula on account of World Environment Day.

He interacted with the students of classes 1 to 10.
He spoke about the Snakes that are frequently found in and around Mysore. Venomous and Non-Venomous snakes. Do's and Don't on encountering snakes. First aid for snake bites.

It was an interactive and an informative session.

The students of AVK visited Shyam's farm in Mysore. and it was an experience of a lifetime.

Shyam is known throughout the Mysore region as a "naturalist on wheels". He rescues and rehabilitates snakes and educates the public about them.
