Gurikar Marimallappa was a visionary, who gifted all his worldly possessions to the founding of the Institution in the sacred cause of promoting excellence in education. She gave all her personel jewels to contribute her bit to the construction of the institution building. This grand period building was designed by a French architect and stands majestically in a spacious six acre land in the heart of Mysore city.
