They say you can’t buy happiness, but you can buy a classic Indian board game, and that’s pretty much the same thing! 🎲✨

We’ve all got those special people in our lives—the ones who seem to have it all. When it comes to picking a return gift for them, we realized that material things fade, but memories last forever.

There is something truly magical about the dice roll, the strategy, and the friendly chaos that happens over a board game. Whether it’s the timeless charm of Ludo, the nostalgic thrill of Snakes and Ladders, or the deep strategy of ancient Indian games, these aren't just gifts—they are invitations to sit down, disconnect from screens, and reconnect with each other.

Give the gift of presence, laughter, and a little bit of healthy competition. Because at the end of the day, the best prize is the time we spend together. ❤️

Today marks the birth anniversary of Rajarshi Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV—the visionary "Father of Modern Mysore." While he gave the world incredible public infrastructure, Asia’s first streetlights, and funded modern yoga, he also did something incredibly close to our hearts: he saved the material culture of traditional Indian board games.

By setting up the Artisan Training Institute in Channapatna in 1918, he ensured that the iconic, natural-lacquer toy and pawn industry survived for generations to come. Today, every time you roll a dice and move a hand-turned Channapatna pawn on a Roll the Dice Heritage board, you are keeping his magnificent cultural legacy alive. 👑🎲

Happy Birthday, Rajarshi! 🙏🏼

Big news! 🎲✨

We are beyond thrilled to share that Roll the Dice and our founder, Tanushri SN, have been featured in the April edition of India’s premier parenting magazine!

The article dives deep into how we are combating social media addiction by reintroducing the "timeless wisdom" of traditional Indian board games. From developing cognitive skills to reclaiming our cultural memory, these games are the 21st-century solution our kids need.

As mentioned in the feature, it’s "Time to roll the dice..." and we couldn't agree more.
A huge thank you to our community for your constant support. Let’s keep rolling the dice! 🎲 and bring back mindful, joyful play!
