It was an honour for our club Opcellence, to host Mr Jaydeep Parmar, the Senior Manager (SCM) of Exide Industries Limited in OP-TALKS for a wonderful session on "Operations and challenges in Supply Chain management". His take on different forecasting tools was very insightful and the process of generating coherent forecasts was very thoughtful. He also instilled the idea of several parameters such as ABC classification, forecast accuracy and inventory at risk enabling us to monitor the Supply chain and to identify the ones that need improvement

Mr Jaydeep Parmar has guided students in Mathematics, Physics, CAT and other MBA modules over the years. He has also worked in a few startups including TutED where he launched few projects for his friend who is currently the owner and CEO of TutED.

Opcellence Mdi Murshidabad eagerly looks forward to creating a long and healthy relationship with Exide Batteries and with Mr Jaydeep Parmar. Once again on behalf of MDIM, we would like to thank him for enriching our students with his practical knowledge in Supply Chain challenges.

OP-TALKS - the pioneer webinar talk event conducted by Team Opcellence comes up with its fifth installment, and is delighted to host Mr. Jaydeep Parmar, Senior Supply Chain Manager (SCM), Exide Industries Ltd. His most recent accomplishments include anticipating demand, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain analytics, among others.

The Talk Series will greatly benefit all students, whether they are yearning for Operations and Supply Chain Management or those from various sectors to contribute to their knowledge about the verticals of management - with each session that follows.

It was an honour for our club Opcellence, to host Mr Mihir Mohanta, the General Manager (SCM) of Mother Dairy, Fruits& Vegetables in OP-TALKS for a wonderful session on "Supply Chain Challenges in Fruits & Vegetables and Startup Opportunities in recent times". His insights towards the approach of supply chain and new startup functions made the students gather practical knowledge and generate more interest in it.

Mr Mihir Mohanta has guided students in understanding how fruits and vegetables are handled with care before selling in the market. The facts about cold storage facilities and the process of nurturing were insightful. To get to know that MotherDairy with its healthy supply chain not only helps in regulating the Indian market to the best of its potential but also aims to help the farmers to the best of their ability is inspiring.

Opcellence Mdi Murshidabad eagerly looks forward to creating a long and healthy relationship with MotherDairy and with Mr Mihir Mohanta. Once again on behalf of MDIM, we would like to thank him for enriching our students with his practical knowledge in Supply Chain challenges.
