It's a school up to class X (ENGLISH medium) affiliated to CBSE, NEWDELHI, with hostel facility. The School is set to meet this challenge through:
• The introduction of a team of carefully selected and qualified bilingual teachers, fluent in both English and Bengali
• A carefully controlled teacher-student ratio that encourages intimate contact
• Encouraging rigorously professional teaching-learning practices, including the use of audio-visual aids
• Creating an on-campus culture of English-speaking and learning to compensate for the students’ lack of such an environment at home and elsewhere.
• The School provides students a first opportunity for all round development through access to play ground and games facilities, extra curricular activities like singing, drawing, claymodelling, paper cutting, These activities are then performed & displayed regularly through annual cultural & sports celebration with special attention towards dance and drama.
• Regular procedures of study evaluation including marking of class-room assignment, home work.
• Multi lingual (Bengali/English/Hindi) Library/reading room access is also provided for students.
• Regular visits by teachers to their learners homes and community contact is a mandatory component to our “Safety Net” approach to basic schooling. School intervention wherever possible, into likely cause of student’s absence is initiated.
